Middle of the pizza is a soup-fest, dough/crust has a decent flavor, overloaded with cheese. 4.4/10 everybody knows the rules.People were nice, service was good, pizza was done quickly, wasn't busy at all.

We have been coming to this location in Emerald Isle for over 15 years. We have recommended this place to our rental clients also. We will no longer come here nor recommend based on our last 3 experiences. The food has become subpar, the restaurant is dirty and bathrooms have a horrible smell all the time. Lastly the service is horrible; the cashier is rude and acts like she cannot be othered to help and they yell at people who try and use their bathroom. The manger was actually yelling through the restaurant and at people walking outside. We will never come to this restaurant again.

I ordered a large pizza right before closing and had it delivered right at 9 PM. It was about 9:05 PM when I went to get me a slice only to find out it wasn’t what I ordered. I tried calling but no one answered so I waited till the morning to let the staff know I didn’t receive what I ordered only to be told that there was nothing they could do because I had to tell them within 2 hours of receiving it in order for them to help me. I said I tried calling but no one answered the phone. I even took the pizza that was delivered to me back (I went there the next morning as soon as they opened. They said sorry but I had to abide by the rules. $30 pizza and a $10 tip to the driver.I was like how am I supposed to know what their policy is when they don’t even tell you.Yea, what sorry food and service.

Owner is rude. Yelling at customers. Reset rooms are disgusting having a terrible odor. Food is not fresh and staff is not friendly.

This was definitely not the MichaelAngelos that I have in Wilmington. I called to place my order and unordered a small cheese pizza and a chef salad. After I paid online I asked for an extra ranch because I forgot. He told me that he would have to rerun my card. I said that he didn't have to then. I was expecting homemade ranch if you are going to charge for it. The driver showed up with my pizza and salad. I opened the bag and there was no dressing at all! I called back and told them that I needed ranch for my salad. They brought it about 25 minutes later. It was a packet of really gross ranch. The chef salad was pitiful. Iceberg lettuce, some meat and some tomatoes and cheese.. No onions, croutons, or olives, etc. and it was small. The pizza was just average. Nothing special at all. I wouldn't order from here again.

I've been past this location dozens and dozens of times for the past 15 years or so. And I am now wishing I would've ate here sooner. Everything was Amazing from the staff that talks to you like you are family, the cleanliness or everything, and the food was way better than I could've ever imagined. Thank You to all those that work at Michaelangelo's, Please keep up the Amazing food, and experience.Vegetarian options: Salads, different pizza options, and vegetarian sub options as well.

Been eating this pizza for over two decades (and in both on and off season) and it’s consistently wonderful. I love the fresh sauce. I don’t get the complaints on long wait times during the summer - it’s packed, of course it’s going to take a long time. Staff are always polite and my order has always been hot and ready at the promised time.
