Fabulous experience! Our waitress Brittany was phenomenal - attentive and bubbly! All the food was great - crab cake sandwiches, fish tacos, chicken sandwich and to die for key lime pie! Definitely a must visit in Emerald Isle!
My husband and I were on vacation and went to Snapperz for the first time with our 8 month old. The owners offered to take our 8 month old son and walk around with him so my husband could eat, we allowed them to do that and it was so nice for them to be so personable and walk around with our son so we could have dinner together. Our son loves to meet new people so he was loving it too. It meant more than I could ever express. Food and service was also amazing!!
Loved everything - all house made, NOT frozen then dropped in fryer kinda stuff. Highly recommend the seafood bisque.
Can't say enough about Snappers! Excellent food service and atmosphere. Handicap accessible and private parties are welcome! Six Horns High for Snappers on the Emerald Isle, North Carolina
Great atmosphere, very good music selection, and highly attentive service/friendly staff. My only complaint would be that for the price, the food is nothing special. It’s not bad, but there is certainly a lot of room for improvement.
For instance two of the people I went with ordered sandwiches (the Bob Marley and the Mahi sandwich) which lacked any signature topping or sauce/condiments. Basically just bread and fried fish. Cooked well, but still they were quite disappointed.
The Snapperz Original was good. Well cooked and generously seasoned.
I ordered the featured Cobia Oscar dish, which is listed as being served “over a bed of skin-on mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus with a champagne hollandaise sauce.” On the menu it says each entree also comes with two sides, so I asked for standard sides of homemade chips and hush puppies since the premium sides cost extra.
When the bill comes, I was charged individually for the chips and the hush puppies. Apparently, the mashed potatoes and asparagus listed in the description of the entree actually count as your two sides? I asked management and explained my confusion and they were gracious enough to take it off of my bill but it was very confusing and, in my opinion, a bit dishonest. Still giving it 4 stars because it’s a great location and helpful staff. Wouldn’t go again.
Great food and the service was great too! I highly recommend this restaurant.
So far the best food all day. There's really no further explanation needed. I eat too much lol. Julian was great ask for him.
They were very accommodating regarding my dietary restrictions and Kristen was awesome.
Kristen is the best for a waitress! Thank you Kristen!!
This place a was a great place. The staff were very attentive. We got Mahi tacos and they came with the mango salsa. Great fit. Outdoor seating is offered for those that like their toes in the sand.

The customer service was GREAT, but the food was HORRIBLE. The only thing ii enjoyed was the size of my cluster. First and foremost they poured about a hand full of old bay on top of the food and that was the only seasoning on the food. The shrimp was not deveined, they were dry, the potatoes were bland even after dipping them into the butter. && I’m not sure if we could have gotten more butter without being charged so we used what we had. My family and I have never been so disappointed and we are SEAFOOD LOVERS, and thought it would be waaaayyyy better since we were right there on the beach. Long story short next time I will just drive the extra 21 miles to go to Jacksonville where I know I will get my money worth , instead of paying $134 for some food that I played over to get full.
What a great place to bring the family. The food and staff was outstanding. If your looking for some delicious seafood this is the place on the island to go.
Some of the best seafood we've ever had! The Mahi Santa Fe was incredible. The steam pot was perfect. The outdoor seating option is such a great touch for the ones with little kids. My kids were able to play outside while we enjoyed our meals without having to keep them sitting still in a booth. Our waitress Brittney was such a sweet girl! We will definitely be back!
Wasabi seared tuna’s a coastal Carolina delight! The wasabi brings a spicy punch to the fresh, seared, and juicy tuna—bold as our BBQ, smooth as a Carteret breeze. Best bite from Southport to Corolla
Our favorite casual dining spot on the Isle. Seafood is great, the sides are good (especially the zucchini fries), and they even make a fab filet mignon. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and it’s nice having a little shop to browse around while waiting for a table.
