Very poor. There was a fly in my sweet tea. They still charged me you would think they would at least offer a free meal. That just turned me off completely. $19 wasted.

Stopped at this local restaurant on my way to the Outer Banks. I had one of the beat pork chops! It was cooked to the perfection. Juicy, and tender with balanced seasoning. The french fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, exactly how I like it. I would definitely stop here again! Great meal on a great day trip out east in NC. Also, fried okra is a must try!

A great little stop along 264 in Englehard. Martelle's is definitely not a place that's only busy because there is nothing nearby. It is well worth the drive for the food and service. Their BBQ is flavored right, their staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a well stocked salad bar at a great price. I will definitely be stopping in the next time I'm nearby or will drive a little further to get there.
