I'm back again for another meal at sugar n spice. Great meal again. Next trip I'm getting that softshell crab. They buy their seafood right across the way directly from the fishing boats. Amazing super fresh. Love the mom and pop who run the place. Super nice people
We had toured Lake Mattamuskeet and stopped here for a late lunch on the way back to the OBX. Holy Sweet Baby Jesus - it was fantastic! Cheese burgers tasted like what grandma would make. Chili and fixings we're in perfect proportion to the sandwich. The fries and onion rings were on point and perfectly cooked. The golden fried winglets were superb - and when you drizzle a little hot sauce on them... OMG! The lemonade was even way above average. And let's not neglect mentioning...read full review

Stopped by after visiting Lake Mattamuskeet. Delicious food, awesome service, fresh local seafood. My grandson ate the fish without the bread in his sandwich. Best seafood he'd ever had. Will plan another trip to the area just to eat there.
