“I had 2 sopes de pollo. This is my first time with sopes. They were served hot and fresh. I asked the guy at the counter how big they were and he said they were small so I ordered 2. Turns out they are actually very substantial and I was not able to finish the two. The pickled onions are very good. The salsa verde is very hot by the way. For whatever reason, they are not accepting cards right now you have to pay in cash. The menu includes meat cuts that I have never seen in tacos such as buche, cabeza and cuerito. I’m here on a Tuesday night so honestly, there are not many people , (just a steady small stream) and it’s just laid-back and quiet in here. And nice and cool on this 90degrees day. No menudo on the menu today. Only Saturday and Sunday.“

“I need to try something different but the shrimp fajitas is my go to and they have never missed—meaning— they have been consistent and I keep coming back! They have a separate dining area that includes a bar! You’ll need a DD if you have a margarita!“
