“It's like a roadside stand or food truck, it's beside a gas station in Lumberton North Carolina. Fantastic food! They make the tortillas in-house they make the chicken in the house they make almost every bit of the house special meals have made in-house ingredients right down to the sauces. They make their pepper sauce in house and it's phenomenal. I met the owners they're really great people. They have a lot more to offer besides just tacos, quesadillas, and Mexican foods, they have breakfast foods both traditional and Mexican, they have lunch chicken wings hamburgers even collard greens, but their Mexican foods are off the chain Fantastic and delicious! You order at the window and you can either eat it a little table here in your car or take it to go.“

“We have a Tesla and we stopped here on a road trip because of the SuperCharger in the parking lot. We have encountered some shady, not so clean places on our journeys with our Tesla in the past. But this will go on one of our top favorite charging stops now. The bathrooms were super clean and even smelled good. The food was good. And the service was excellent. The waitress immediately recognized our stress of traveling with 3 young kids and quickly served us and brought all the extras we needed before even asking for them.“

“Although it's kinda hidden inside the old Sears store, this place is a real treat. We usually frequent another Mexican restaurant in town. But, decided to try Melecios for dinner last weekend. The food was delicious. The salsa was authentic; not from a jar. Everything was enjoyable, including our waitress. The only reason I gave Service 3 stars instead of 5 is bc the waitress had a potty mouth. She dropped the F-bomb multiple times while chatting with us. Not cool. Otherwise, this hidden gem is going to become a go-to for Mexican food in the future.“

When we called the order in the man who answered the phone was so cheerful.. my husband went to pick it up and said they were so friendly. So that was a little off putting.I really enjoyed the doors, and the restaurant was decorated for Halloween, it was so cute inside!!“
