“We have a Tesla and we stopped here on a road trip because of the SuperCharger in the parking lot. We have encountered some shady, not so clean places on our journeys with our Tesla in the past. But this will go on one of our top favorite charging stops now. The bathrooms were super clean and even smelled good. The food was good. And the service was excellent. The waitress immediately recognized our stress of traveling with 3 young kids and quickly served us and brought all the extras we needed before even asking for them.”

It was really plain with just a bun, two pieces of white chicken breast lightly breaded and that was it, no sauce or cheese or anything else, but he liked it that way.I got a pulled pork platter. The pulled pork was too spicy for me.”

Eggs, bacon, 2 omelettes, pancakes, grits, toast (no biscuits), and coffee; everything was cooked to order and correct the first time.This is a gem of a place... Come as you are, and stay awhile OR call ahead for pick up (no drive thru) and head back out, easy peasy! We tried to use a combo coupon but was told it was not allowed to be used on the chicken bacon ranch foot long. According to the coupon, chicken bacon ranch was not excluded but when we tried to ask the associate to clarify why we couldn't use that coupon; she said because excludes means only those subs listed could be used for that coupon. “I scored this location with 5 stars yesterday but did not have the chance to provide a review because I was running short of time.When we decided to visit this location, we had just left another event and we're trying to find a restaurant that was still open (it was approaching 9:30pm). We have always enjoyed Captain D's seafood and we grew up with a location in my family's hometown of Danville, VA. Unfortunately, that location closed and we moved to NC, at which time we found out our closest Captain D's was in Greensboro, NC.That's not convenient at all when you live outside of Fayetteville, NC like we do.Anyway, I digress. We found this Lumberton location and were happy we were able to get there in time to order. The very kind woman who helped us at the drive-thru made sure we were taken care of and the food was piping hot when we got it; everything was cooked perfectly!All of our selections were delicious and we were grateful they had not already shut down the fryers considering the late hour. We appreciated the hospitality considering the fact a lot of places would have just told us they were closed at that time of night.We will definitely be coming back to this location the next time we're in the Lumberton area!
