I know Hardee's in New Ulm MN has had some issues, but I went there today and was more than impressed! there were at least four people working there and they were so friendly and the food came really fast. it was fresh and hot and delicious! I can't wait to go there again, it looks like they have really pulled it together!
Never had the Hardee's Thickburger before yesterday. I will definitely stop by a Hardee's again if I need a quality fast-food burger.

Hardee's has seen positive changes under a new general manager, creating a better atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant is very clean, with many tables available for dining. The food was fresh, and service was courteous. One employee, named Howard, stood out for working hard, smiling, and making customers laugh, even when busy working alone to take orders, prepare food, and handle the drive-through. Customers appreciated his effort and suggested he should be promoted to manager.
However, cleanliness outside the kitchen was sometimes lacking, with smudged glass doors and dirty floors needing sweeping and mopping. The dining area was mostly empty, but tables were not always clean, and the bathroom was not dirty but required asking for a key. The area around the restaurant has some issues with homeless individuals walking nearby.
The food includes greasy burgers, which did not taste very fresh, though the french fries were crispy and good. Soft drinks did not taste as expected for fast food. Parking is available on a private lot, and the restaurant is easily accessible for those with reduced mobility. Overall, the restaurant offers friendly service and a welcoming environment with room for improvement in cleanliness and food quality.
