I was disappointed with the service from the fella wearing the gold teeth and chains. I called prior to confirm they had blue crabs.. boom ? im happy! I get there and it’s standing room only.. literally you have about 2X4 ft area to stand and look around… all the fish is in closed coolers with a sign above that says ‘do not touch’ and ‘do not open’. I would have been interested in fish if I could have seen what was offered but I was turned off by the sing… so back to the crabs… I ask what sizes do you have… he opened one bushel and said these are all I have for $25….. mind you there were two bushels there.. so I lifted the top on the second one and discovered another bushel of crabs… I just looked up at him..thinking to myself why lie. So I asked what was the difference, he was so hesitant to say anything reluctantly said these are males and these are females.. and femakes $30 so now I’m really upset bc I prefer females… at the same exact moment I seen a few jumbo crabs that had been separated in the sink, I asked him were they alive and he said no… but I seen them moving. I went to grab the tongs to check if the crabs were in fact dead and he stopped me and wouldn’t let me use the thongs.. the jumbo crabs were alive… I was about to walk out and leave at this point..but I drove over 1hr get there and was prepared to buy plenty of seafood. So now I look this man in the face and say why you lying to me? His response is the males are $25, the females are $30 and the jumbos are ($forgot).How disgusting what that customer service and experience, despite the place looking raggedy I wanted to support them bc they were black owned… but I don’t trust them at all… I fear he gives different prices to different people, throughout the day, saves the better stuff for others… I’m surprised bc I went by the google stars and am rarely disappointed.. what happened…seems like up until recently they were getting rave reviews…

I'm from Fla and never went in a store where they say Only food stamps , when u trying to pay for crabs with cash !! The lady have a nasty attitude, which was 1 reason I will never walk foot into this shop again , the man was so sweet and the crabs they pick them out for you and , crabs was dead and the man try his best to sell the crabs , don't even steam them for you or nothing but price high as heck. The lady will look at u all hateful , rolling eyes bc u ask questions.lol I will not come back , he need to just keep her at home and maybe I'll reconsider.and drop the price. Take debit or cash

I like going to black owned business to support them. However the owner is a nice lady, but everyone else always has an attitude However I'm a crab eater in my 58 years of living never had to deal with disrespect. I asked for the bigger crabs since they all were small and the man kept giving me the smaller ones. This was my last time coming supporting them. If you want crabs with a smile go to sandford.

Fish with rotten.. he told me he had blue ? crabs& the seafood truck driver told me he had some..He charged me the price of large crabs & the driver said he was selling med crabs for the price of large....HE WILL NEVER GET NO MORE OF MY MONEY ?...I PROMISE U THAT..SUCKER...
