The lady that is usually the one in the kitchen cannot tip herself. I won't be coming back because that is dishonest because I can tip people but I only noticed because she flipped the screen to charge my credit card twice because I was buying a canned grape soda and it looked like it said $1.07 and I was charged $2.14. I know how to add up and the tax did not total that amount. She only showed me the screen because I was paying for something with the same credit card twice and it needed me to tap yes to charge my credit card a second time. I won't make a big deal about it because it's such a little amount but to tip herself without even talking to me is unacceptable and I will not be coming back to this restaurant because of that.

So I really wanted to give this restaurant a try. But when we went in, we were told we had to go outside to look at the menu in the window, so we did. I came back in and tried to place my order and was told they were out of several of the items, so we went outside to once again look at the menu and when we went back in we were once again told they were out of that as well. We said nevermind. The time was 4:50 PM and they close at 9 PM. Not sure if I will give it another try so we can actually taste the food.

I STILL don't know! My craving for oxtails (and some of the positive reviews) sent me to that restaurant! NO sign was placed in the window indicating that the oxtails weren't ready! The cashier and I even discussed the sides that come with the entree. THEN, she says "they're not ready, though, but you can come back later (later than what?? Are they even part of the lunch menu?) ?.

I just left A&T soulful kitchen and just like always the food is ??? great customer service great food a great price and you can't ask for more. Their homemade desserts and drinks are the bomb. And Mr T is nothing but polite and respectful. Thank you Mr T and you know I will be back as always

I work 2 doors down from this restaurant. My office is under construction and our toilet has not yet been installed. I walked next door and explained to the owner my situation and asked if I could use the restroom and he told me no. I reintegrated, I work right next door and he still refused to allow me to use the restroom. Horrible service and not at all a friendly environment to their neighbors. I will never eat here.

The rice tasted like Ghanaian jollof but over seasoned. Mac and cheese was dry and under seasoned. Chicken taste rubbery. I asked for half sweet chill but it taste like I got honey bbq. If you like Ghanaian jollof you might love this. ??? made me sick.

Very disappointed tonight! First, I see a sign to say they are only doing cash or cash App. I was shocked because I know they used to do credit cards. Lucky for me, I happened to have $20. I told the girl, who was the only one there, that that was a d*** decision especially being a restaurant. Second, the food quality has changed quite a bit! The yams were not sweet, the macaroni and cheese was dry and hard and the chicken was dry. I got there at 5:30. There's no reason why it could not have been fresher.
I ordered the meatloaf dinner with mustard greens and cabbage. I placed my order through DoodDash and I should’ve known it was going to go south when it took 30 minutes for them just to confirm my order. Second red flag was when the dasher called to tell me they didn’t have anymore bottled water and no diet drink options so I’d have to choose something (I told the dasher at this point I didn’t care just pick anything to drink). The meatloaf was dry and grainy and looked like dog food. There was no sauce or gravy on it and it was tasteless even with ketchup. Completely inedible cafeteria type food at best. The cabbage and mustard greens also had zero flavor. I didn’t even bother wasting my hot sauce on it and just decided to throw the whole tray in the trash where it belonged. I was highly disappointed and really wanted to support this black owned business. However this place is beyond subpar. I had to order someplace else just so I could have some dinner before everything closed. Don’t ever order from here. It’s definitely not soul food nor is there any indication that they prepare their food with love.

Inaccurate operation hours. I went with the intentions of buying a large meal. I arrived at 5:15pm and they were closed. Operation hours listed say that they should be open (see picture). I understand that emergencies happen, but there was no additional signage stating so. I always got out of my way support soulfood restaurants and I was disappointed after this experience.

So, my Great Aunt wanted soul food and I kinda felt the same.So listen before I start, I am not a big eater especially when trying a new place…My kids and I got two 10 piece wings (10 plain; 5 lemon pepper; and 5 Honey BBQ) I had to sample all three. Yeah the cool did that on them wings. I mean I loved them and my babies are still munching (2 & 1 year olds). Wanted to try the potato salad and Mac n cheese… I personally wish the side of Mac was a little bigger but I enjoyed it… the kids are still munching on wings… the potato salad was good, not what I am used to but we all know that everyone makes things differently.My Aunt got the baked chicken with dirty rice and collard greens (which I had to taste both of her sides… OMG I bout died at how good it was. She says that the baked chicken was really good. And honestly for her to say that you have a returning customer (she is a very picky eater). She also got Peach Tea and I don’t think she has had a chance to try it yet… will return with her review on that shortly.All in all we enjoyed our food and will be back again.Also the gentleman at the register was so sweet and friendly. Will make sure to spread the word, this is a hot spot for Soul Food for sure!!!

I ordered food from here through Menufly and I never received my food nor a refund! every time I call this restaurant, no body answers and it takes me to a recording that doesn’t allow me to leave a message. Every time I go up to this restaurant, they are closed. THEY ARE NEVER OPEN! They took my money and there’s no way I can get in contact with them since they do not answer their phone. Menufly stated they attempted to retrieve refund but that this restaurant refused to reimburse the money. HOW DO YOU NOT REIMBURSE A CUSTOMERS MONEY WHEN THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED AND YOU DIDNT RECEIVE YOUR FOOD? What kind of company does this? They stole my money and won’t give it back! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! They stole $58 from me. VERY BAD BUSINESS! My husband and I went for the first time and the staff was very helpful they helped us find the best fit for our meals. Everything was great and very clean. I am not a meat loft fan but let me tell you it was the talk of my office my next day at work. I hope that my coworkers enjoy it as much as I did because I sure did tell them all about it. We will for sure be going back to try more. If you have not eaten here please give them a try you will not be disappointed. So sorry I did not take a picture but the food did not last that long I ate that plate up.
