Nothing fancy about the restaurant but their BBQ is fantastic! I got the fried okra instead of the fries. Yum!!! My husband loves to go on Fri or Sat. when the have whole catfish.

This was the worst BBQ I'VE EVER TASTED ALMOST LIKE THEY DIPPED IT IN THE DISH WATER SO SOGGY AND THE FRIED CHICKEN WAS CREMATED DEFINITELY NOT EASTERN NC BBQ 30 DOLLARS FOR 2 COMBINATION PLATES I'M NOT MUCH FOR COMPLAINING OR TRYING TO GET A FREEBIE BUT IT WAS HORRIBLE AND THE NOT SO FRIENDLY STAFF. I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVEN MY MOM HATED IT AND SHE LOVES BBQ DO BETTER.

I don’t even live in Fayetteville anymore but every time I go this is the first place I visit. There are BBQ places everywhere but It’s something about the taste and quality of the food that is like no others

This is one of the best places around to get authentic Eastern Carolina barbecue. The food is great, service is good, and the prices are very reasonable.

If you are not from NC and eat here, please do NOT base our BBQ off of what you taste at this establishment. Do NOT believe the other reviews that say is good NC barbecue. I’ve eaten here twice. The second time was in hopes that I caught them on a bad day the first time. This is NOT pit cooked bbq. This is NOT a staple to Fayetteville like others may proclaim. This is mediocre bbq that they are cooking in gas ovens and drenching with some disgusting attempt at home made bbq sauce. This is borderline what I would imagine bbq at a prison or middle school cafeteria would taste like.

Best fried chicken in the region!

We were previously informed that their dining room closes at 7. Today we attempted to eat her at 6:15 just to be told their dining room is closed. This is not the first time this has happened.

Me and the kids came through town during a day of traveling and it was recommended to us by a fella at the gas station. They famous for some Carolina BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. We got 4 of them to go and they was pretty cheap too. Only $12/sandwich for something a lot better than stopping at a McDonald’s.

The food was quite good but you gotta have a taste for that Carolina twang. Of the 4 sandwiches there was probably 4 hard bits of the meat but I can’t complain too much. I give the food a 4/5 stars but the staff left a little to be desired on the southern hospitality aspect

Food was not what I expected after being told it was awesome. Mac and cheese was runny and looked like craft and their collards had to be from a can with no seasoning. Will not be returning.

The barbeque is good ( perfect amount of vinegar ) If that's your thing. It's my thing!
The potato salad is my " Go-to" .
The hush puppies are a tad over fried but my big back self likes them nonetheless. I order the same thing every visit so I can't speak on anything else. My fiance' stays with the fried chicken and pork chop.
We will continue to return.
The staff can smile more though.
Come-on Life is hard enough . Brighten someone else's day. ???☺️
