I know good help is hard to find. But whoever you’re going to have working the front counter should be polite and personable. She should not be wearing headphones, constantly saying what, while speaking at a whisper herself, and not answering the customers question. Like maybe you could hear and actually communicate effectively if you took your headphones out. I had a simple question that still wasn’t answered. But I did buy a dozen at least for my team. Can’t say if they were good or not since I didn’t get to eat any myself (due to an allergy) that if she could have just told me what’s in the stupid thing would have been helpful.. I’m looking for a place to buy weekly for my people but I guess it won’t be here.

Holy crap shoot!!! This place is u real. The service was great and the croissants were the best you will have. We got then filled with a few different things and an eclair with cream filling as well. We got out to the car to go and I had a croissant and my first bite was so good. If we come back to town we will go there again for more of everything. Don't miss out of this great little place.

I had a craving for donuts and found this place on Maps. I ended up getting the buttercream croissant and they were so good. I had to turn around and get more. I will highly recommend!

Drove to Burney’s from Myrtle Beach, SC and I bought a $45 15- layer chocolate cake for my mom’s birthday and my birthday. This cake was made with CANNED icing! This cake is nauseating. This is IGA grocery store quality. The employee assured me it was their “best seller”. I wanted something special for our birthdays. As a well known bakery in town, you would expect to have homemade icing on your cakes. The cake was also on a styrofoam plate which is tacky. When you cut a slice, you cut into the styrofoam plate. I will be taking this cake back to the store tomorrow for a refund. DO NOT expect homemade quality from this bakery. Just save your money and get a grocery store cake. They’re cutting corners to save themselves money and not caring at all about their loyal customers. $45!!!!

A really good friend of ours told us about this place the other day, and we thought this morning would be a great time to check them out. Was greeted at the door when we walked in, and the smell just hit you right away. Then the amazing looking display case dazzles you with all its deliciousness. There are so many options to choose from. We got a honey bun, cinnamon rolls, a red velvet muffin, a croissant pastry thingy, and some donut holes. But really, they just taste blan. The cinnamon roll tasted like it was just bread with icing on it. The muffin didn't really taste like nothing at all, to be honest. Will go back to try more things on the menu, but all in all, it was just IDK.

I have been going to the Burney's on Raeford Rd for a long time and as of late the quality has been slipping. It seems that the declining dollar has hit them hard. The croissants seem to be about a third of the size with little cream filling x 2 and the cannoli x 4 had a little filling on each end but completely void of it in the center. I know the increasing supply cost has to be passed on to the consumer but at least make the items complete and not half way.

Quality is suffering. I bought two chocolate butter cream croissants and four cannoli yesterday and found their quality control is lacking. The croissants as of late are about a third smaller with very little filling. The cannoli had a small amount of filling on each end while the center area was void of any filling.
I know the dollar value is weak but instead of shorting the quality maybe increase the price of the goods.

I ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter. It was delicious and absolutely adorable! I would recommend Burney's to anyone who wants a great cake! The doughnuts are delicious also!!!
