This is a great little cafe. I've been coming here for years. They really have a good little setup.

Food is inconsistent. My chicken was dry where as next to me was a moist piece of chicken. Couldn't cut through the chicken with the butter knife they supplied because the skin was hard and they don't have real knives. The beef was dry as well. Some plates received broccoli heads while others only received the stalk.

Superb Christmas dinner. What a wonderful staff:) Make reservations though, we didn't know that, but were seated quickly. Surprise!!! A buffet with hot food!

This place is located in the Holiday Inn, which is actually quite a beautiful hotel from what we saw in the lobby. The restaurant has a Breakfast and Lunch buffet ($7.95). The lunch buffet is open at 11am. They also have a Sunday Brunch buffet ($10.95). We went there for the lunch buffet which consisted of: very fresh salad bar with chicken and ham as protein choices, green beans, corn, fried chicken, hamburger in gravy, lima beans, and rice. The food was subpar, most of it having been taken out of a can and then heated up. I did enjoy their salad bar which was fresh and had a good selection of additions like full black olives, cheese, sunflower seeds and around 5 different salad dressings. They also brought out desserts (apple pie and carrot cake) after one of the waitresses pointed out that they usually put out desserts. They did add whipped cream touches and decorated the plates with caramel somewhat, but the desserts themselves were okay. This is a great place for those who want to get a really good bang for your buck because for $7.95, you get a lot of things, salad, entrees, various sides, and desserts, but you get what you pay for. The waitress service was great, our's was very attentive. They also seem to have regulars to come to this buffet since the waitress seemed to recognize a lot of the other couples there. I tried to order things off their menu (sandwiches and cakes), but unfortunately, they focus on the buffet and do not have a lot of things listed on the menu. I overheard a waitress say that they will be getting a revamp in January, so I will be going back once they revamp to assess how they have improved.
