This was my first time at the establishment. The service was great! It is a small establishment and a reservation would be best; it does get crowded quickly. We had the shrimp and grits infused with bacon and collard greens with cheese. Omg such great flavors, I’d say less cheese. Also, we had the lamb piccata with the risotto and asparagus. The lemon was overpowering in my opinion for the dish but it was good—a must-try restaurant.
I would give a 3.5 on the food only because the breakfast burrito I first order was absolutely too salty. I’m guessing it was the collards. I was looking forward to trying it too. One bite I had to send back. But then I ordered the chicken and toast! My goodness so tasty and flavorful! The chicken fingers had the right crunch but soft on inside. The toast was a super sized French toast, awesome! The brunch punch is a must try, delicious! Oh also 3.5 because they charged us...
First visit for the four of us! We went in for brunch and it did not disappoint! As busy as it was, the food came out fast and hot, plated beautifully and served by an amazingly attentive and friendly server! The entire staff was great! We had stuffed burritos, French toast, a variety of appetizers and more! All was wonderful!
