The order taker was very nice, although rushed with nobody behind me. The cashier, However, was rude and didn't say thank you. The milkshake was given to me with the lid half on and over flowing down the cup making a total mess. This transaction was on 3/7/25 about 4:00 or a little later. Won't be going back. I should've had her take the shake back and made it acceptable, but I'm kind and didn't.

Cookout isn't much for an atmosphere although the one that you can eat inside on Ramsey St IS always clean This cookout is always prompt to prepare your order and quick to get you back on the road. An awesome team for sure.

The worst cookout we have ever been to. They asked us to back up after we paid behind the pole then when it did was ready they had us pull forward. This was very sketchy and made us worry they were doing something to the food because there was no reason to have everyone back up from the window when we were not in anyone’s way. Then my girlfriend and I had upset stomachs all night after. Stay away from this one

Cool Out is basically a fast-food-drive through restaurant in the Owen Drive, Fayetteville NC location. You choose what you want to eat, drive to the window, pay, and within a few minutes, receive your food, and drive somewhere to enjoy your meal. It's that simple. (Although I would suggest verifying your food order is correct before you drive off.) The Owen Drive Restaurant in Fayetteville NC has 2 drive-through windows. Fayetteville NC has a 2nd location on Ramsey Street that has a dine-in restaurant as well as a drive-through window. We usually eat inside the Restaurant when we are on that side of town.
Kid-friendliness: The dine-in restaurant is very casual.
Wheelchair accessibility: The two doors are easy enough to get a wheelchair or walker into the restaurant, but you would need to have someone open, hold the door open, and otherwise make getting through the door easier.
Just went through and the food was hot and my onion rings crispy SOO good. I asked the guy in the window his name is Covy not sure of spelling he was super sweet and his customer service skills were top notch. Even remembered to ask if I needed sauce for the nuggets I always forget. Thank you Covy I have had a traumatic week and your kindness and smile made my day.
Be careful with this one. The cashiers are running a scam on people by not giving your proper change back. I ordered two trays and only got rung up for one on my receipt. When I looked at my receipt and my change they had kept almost 8 dollars of my change. When I got home and noticed, I returned to the store immediately and they would not count the register to see if what I said was true or not. Nor was a manager on duty so they say. Think of it like this, if a person keeps 5 dollars from 10 different customers a day that's 50 dollars. 20 would be a 100 so on and so forth. They get you like this because they say we are only accepting cash and can you back up to the black pole and I'll call you to pull up. Your helping me with my drive thru time. Watch out for Stephanie. She the main one doing it.
