Unfortunately, this type of restaurant does not prepare Puerto Rican food as it is done on the island. The rice and other ingredients are from a box, the kind that tastes like plastic. It seems that once prepared, what is left over is stored in the refrigerator and after a while, its flavor and consistency is terrible.
They must use better quality ingredients and must create more original condiments. Everything tastes like cheap supermarket marinade.
On the other hand, pay close attention to the receipt because your pencil slips when you collect. They can improve if they put their mind to it.

Went there with a group of friends to have dinner on a Friday night, and it was almost empty. They had almost nothing from the menu. The first thing you see when you get in is a big bar, but they did not have a drinks menu. Chicken and mofongo were ok. Ordered a sangria jar, and it tasted like concentrated juice. Never again. It is overpriced and is a shame since there are not too many Latin restaurants in the area.

Steak with onions was like fried hamburger meat, not at all like the photo. I had been craving steak and I didn't even eat it. I also called to eliminate side orders, they told me that I could over the phone, when I got to the restaurant they charged me for the sides. Best communication needed

The restaurant has very good food and options. However, be aware of extra charges if you don't inquire. For example, ask for extra criollo sauce, you'll get charged, and it's high. I'm surprised they'll give you a cup of water because they push for bottled water. The service is below average. The waitresses are busy on their phones and may follow up if you need something. The handful of times we've been there, I've had to garner their attention. They also have an attitude if you ask for something. The atmosphere is good, but it is very minimal seating, especially if the DJ is present. The cost is high and expect to pay more than $50 for 2 adults with tap water to drink. If you get soft drinks or alcohol, you'll easily pay $60 - $75 not including tip. When we went two weeks ago to celebrate my birthday, the location was closed on a Saturday with no signs on the door.
Kid-friendliness: It's 50/50.

I would have given it 5 stars but the service was between two. We went to eat today 11/9/24 5:30pm, there were two girls working, an older girl and a young girl who had pimple patches on her face. Firstly, the food was delicious because it has to be said. But from the moment we sat down we realized that the young girl didn't want to work or help the lady. The lady who is a little plump (excuse me for describing her, I forgot to ask her name but she was very kind) was like an octopus, doing all the work alone, seating clients, taking orders, mixing drinks, taking out food, etc. And the young girl very removed from everything behind the bar doing nothing as if she didn't want to be there like an NPC. The lady deserves the salary of two waitresses. More staff is needed and they need to be attentive and friendly. It was our first time visiting the place, which is very nice and clean. But the service was very slow because only one was doing everything. Owners remember that servers are the face of your business!! We wanted to eat at the restaurant but because of so many people there, I told the lady to change it to takeout (the food came out almost 40 min later). I noticed she was a little overwhelmed with the work but she knew how to do her job even if it took long.

I was looking for the place, because you can't see it from the road, it's quite hidden, but the food was delicious 🤑

Found restaurant on the internet while traveling back to Mississippi and stopped by. Everyone was friendly, but the food was awesome. I had the grilled chicken with onions and my husband had the grilled steak with onions and we both had rice and beans with plantains. I will return!!!!!
