My family thoroughly enjoyed the food. They were out of crab cakes on a Friday night and this pregnant lady was nearly in tears. The calamari was heavily breaded but not too chewy but the crab dip was bussin. My husband had the red snapper, lobster Mac, shrimp and he had no complaints which is rare. He also love the music Playlist in the background. I will be back for that crab cake!

Great food at great service. High quality seafood at reasonable prices. Met Angel today she was wonderful to talk to and very informative. Try the crab cake, the lobster mac n cheese or any shrimp dish. The shrimp tastes fresh and never overcooked.

Appears this restaurant is relatively new to the area. Frequented the previous restaurant which had great food but horrible service. The new restaurant has outstanding service and disgusting food. I ordered the Creek, the rice tasted scorched, the shrimp were raw, sent them back to get cooked more as I initially requested well-done. They came back out seared lighter than before. The coleslaw looked like it's been sitting awhile. Too afraid to try it as Mayo base, potential to get food poisoning. The highlight of our evening, was our pleasant server, Faith & the hostess who greeted us upon arrival. Save yourself the headache, venture elsewhere. ?

OK chef Judy, I came back for another try. My food was excellent. I had the shrimp Po boy with a side of Cajun fries. It was a perfect lunch meal. The ambience was good, the music that was playing reminded me of my Eric Roberson Pandora station, Very mellow. My waitress, Lyric, was very attentive, and came back several times to check on me after I had my meal. I would’ve given it a five, but there were no healthy side options, like coleslaw, steamed vegetables, or broccoli that I could’ve gotten with my sandwich. I’ll definitely be back for lunch.

I love it! I came in for lunch at about 4:30 in the afternoon. I said outside on the patio and it gives me a really Louisiana bayou kind of vibe I love the scenery outside. The quality and texture of the shrimp was fantastic. The quality and texture of the lobster was fantastic as well. The salad was also great. I love the lightly deep-fried whole red snapper, it was very tasty. I love love love the lemon pepper broccoli. The coleslaw, wasn’t my cup of teas, I like mine a little bit more sweeter. I had the best customer service ever they were very punctual and attentive. However I do suggest that they screen in the back patio. Whenever I first sat down outside on the patio, I was not bothered by bugs. But after my food was brought out, it was like a call to nature for all flies to come out and attack LOL! I eventually moved inside, where I finished the rest of my lovely lunch! I got a daiquiri it wasn’t that strong. So I got a double shot of tequila LOL!

This was my second time going since the restaurant has changed names and is under new management. As the first time, the food was delicious, and the service was great. One of the managers even came out to introduce herself and thank me for returning and ensured we were receiving quality service. Our waitress Amber made sure we had everything we needed. She was friendly, down to earth, and she made you feel welcomed. Though we sat down and enjoyed ourselves long after the food was gone, not once did she rush us to leave. And even though it was a wait (we were told 20-25 minutes), it was less than that, and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by name as opposed to having to tell them who we were. I’d definitely recommend eating from here, for the food and service.
I follow Chef Judy on social media since the show and mentioned to my husband that her restaurant had opened up in Fayetteville, NC. He surprised me and brought me for my birthday and it was amazing. We are foodies and we traveled from Chesapeake, Virginia to visit. We ordered a variety of items from her menu. Seafood hushpuppies, oysters, gumbo, crab dip and the red snapper just to name a few. All of it was DELICIOUS AND FRESHLY PREPARED. Most importantly was the superb customer service we received. Bryce was our waitress and she was so attentive and we enjoyed her personality as well. At the end of our visit we were asked if we enjoyed it and we will definitely be visiting again in the near future. If you're looking for a restaurant with a great atmosphere, this is your place.

I highly recommend Drop By The River Seafood. The Food is Delicious. The Staff are Friendly and Service is normally always good. I had a bad experience today that really upset me. I usually use Speedwaitor but my son was near by so I ordered online and asked him to pickup for me and online it told me my order would be ready for pickup at 4:35pm and he was there and waited and at 4 :48 pm when he asked the person about my order they told him that they haven't even started coo
