the food was good but overpriced. I didn’t get a drink for the same reason (and still paid $15plus. I would go back only if I were really craving something and i couldn’t get it elsewhere in that moment. Restaurant stand is inside a flea market and restrooms are a bit aways too.
Closest thing Ive come to real Mexican food while living in nc. The flavor is amazing and the birria tacos are to die for. The women and man who work there are so kind and they definitely get down in the kitchen.
We loved El Zarape authentic Mexican food! It has an actual dining area to sit down and enjoy your meal. The red salsa had a nice slow burn heat that I love. The corn tortillas were amazing, as well as the pollo, carne asada, and nachos that we shared. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite with family and friends! They serve the most authentic Mexican food I've had in a few years now.
