How can yall say this is good? The flour still trying to cook on these should be oxtails. They wouldn't refund, talking about "oh you must be new." If this how yall eat, baby please keep it. They did offer something else, but hard pass. This plate was a complete turn off.

I usually only write 4 and 5 star reviews. I'm never compelled by a bad experience. But this was the worse food I've had in Fayetteville in almost 10 years of living here. Every single thing I ordered had a weird taste. Even the one thing that was decent had a weird after taste and that was the corn. The cabbage was edible. The greens were terrible. The red velvet cake was definitely store bought and was old. And the worst thing of it all were some Lima beans. This was the worse thing I've ever had in my life. I don't know if they were old...bottom of the pot scorched then somebody scraped the top out of the pot boiled them in some water. It was putrid. Oh my gosh. Oh I forgot I ordered the Mac and cheese. Weird but edible like the cabbage and corn. I would never ever recommend this place and will never ever eat from the place and recommend you don't either.

I asked Santa for the best chitlins ever and By gosh won’t he do it!! I ordered green’s (well seasoned) I ordered potato salad seasoned cooked and sweet how I like it. The cornbread ?? And the “Chitlins OMG!! Great atmosphere and I couldn’t think y’all enough “Happy Holidays “ I will be back.

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY, Firstly, the name should be called "More Salt Than Most". I ordered the smothered pork chops with macaroni, cabbage and yams. I should have known something was wrong because the place didn't smell right. The macaroni had almost no cheese but was salted to death. The cabbage had some weird almost vinegar taste. The pork chop was on the struggle bus, and I had to rip it apart with a knife and fork. The yams were straight out of the CAN with a little sprinkle of cinnamon on top. My husband ordered oxtails; he received 2 oxtails which had so much fat that he didn't even eat them. The ONLY thing that was good was my husband's baked potato. I called and asked for a refund and someone in the back was screaming " we don't give refunds! The lady asked me if I wanted them to cook me something else, I replied " no maam, why would i want anything else, my blood pressure is already high enough. I packed our plates up and took them back to the restaurant and left them on the counter. I'm not pressed for money; I will pay good money for some good food. This plate wasn't worth more than $6.00 on a good day. I was lied to several times; the first lie was that they don't receive any complaints however as I perused though the reviews, I have determined that as a lie, I have seen quite a few complaints that are very similar to mine. I was also told that the yams were homemade, I consider myself a person of high intelligence and I know what Bruce's yam's looks like. This will be just another restaurant that won't be in business long.

I’ve only ordered twice from here, the meatloaf I got wasn’t the best it was kinda dry but it’s more than likely because it had to be warmed up being it’s precooked. I also had the oxtails here and that was the bomb! I love soul food and being they have so much to choose from I won’t say no to this restaurant with my cravings.

The food is extraordinary. I love how they treat the military and the veterans with their wonderful discounts. I recommend this place for a lot of people the plates might be a little high, but it is worth the price.Kid-friendliness: Theres good cheap little kids meal plates

The food was good and I would probably come back and try it again . 2 tables in thwrw when we walked in. The lady took a while to get to us ...definitely wasn't in a hurry but neither were we so it didn't bother us too much. Once we ordered ...it took us about another 5 min to get our drinks. Food comes out ..asked for the alligator bites first but it all came together. I got ribs ...for $18 expected more than a 1/3 rack of ribs.(4 bones) and a 1/2 of baked potato. Mac n cheese was a regular size side portion . The lady working the front was friendly but needed some help for sure. it was just too busy for just one person. He loved his frog legs and red beans and rice . Wasn't a bad experience but definitely wasn't the best either .

I have never had pig feet and brown gravy in my entire life growing up majority in the south. It is so nasty it has no flavor. The broccoli and cheese is nasty. The macaroni and cheese is the only thing that is good brown gravy I still can’t get my mind wrapped around that it’s like they just cook a pot of gravy stop the rock pig feet in the gravy and let it cook down in the gravy with no seasoning no flavor and it taste like package gravy This is my first time eating at this restaurant and to be honest might not go back. I should’ve known something was wrong when there was no pictures of the food and one or two pictures was of a ox tail that seem to be covered in brown gravy.
