Let's just begin with the customer service. I called in to ask about hours and placing a phone order. The person on the phone was so pleasant and informative...I felt more like a close friend than a possible customer. Now, with that being said, I was on the prowl for fried fish. I was told they offered Whiting and Red Snapper. I ordered the Whiting with okra and cabbage as sides. I'm a Georgia girl and I'm VERY particular about my veggies. When I tell you that cabbage was so good I called them back, fish seasoned to perfection and that okra was crunchy and salted just right. I rarely leave reviews. This visit warranted this review. Located just off Yasmin Rd just outside the base entrance. Looking for soul food? I HIGHLY recommend you stop and give them a try!!

My family and I were looking for some goodT food and we DEFINITELY found a gem at this spot. We ordered baked turkey wings, fries, fried okra, Mac and cheese, wangs (garlic parm, hot honey and sweet chili). And some cornbread. We also had sweet tea and a "mystery punch". Let me tell yall, this food was near PERFECTION!!!! I could tell that the food was made to order (with the exception of the turkey wings) as it was very hot, fresh and the fries were hand cut. Wing flavor was spot on; Mac and cheese was some of the best I've ever eaten. Turkey wings and gravy were good but for my personal taste, I would have liked if both were a bit more seasoned. Owner was the kindest soul and customer service was Surperb ??. If ever I'm craving so good home cooking and don't feel like making it myself, I will definitely make the drive out to this place. Yall do yourself a favor and give them a try!
