Food was very good. They have three choices of chicken: fried, baked and BBQ. Fried chicken very crispy and not too salty (my complaint about other places). Baked was very good and not tough - it could be a healthy alternative. BBQ is oven baked with plenty of sauce that is included with your serving. Be prepared to wash your hands afterward! Yum!
Sides are great and seasoned just right. Candied yams are very lightly spiced and not overly sweet. The potato salad is mustard-based with some egg - like you would eat at a church potluck. And thankfully no pimiento! Cole slaw is excellent as well. You can tell my favored sides!
The staff are very kind and helpful as well. Oh, and the restaurant is very clean and has indoor seating, counter pick-up, and drive-up window service.
Highly recommend this restaurant, although the location is a little more challenging to get to. Worth the effort.

The pork chops were so juicy and delicious! But the service was awful. I used the drive-through because I was on a one hour lunch break and needed to hurry. No one else was in the line. I waited so long at the speaker(even repositioning my car) that I thought it wasn't working and pulled up to the window. Two female employees were at that station talking. One took my order and indicated the speaker was working. It took 10 full minutes to get my food after ordering. I had to eat on the go. The food is worth eating, but only if you have all day.

This store needs to get it together. How can I not call the store? Y’all have been open for over half a year. Then you’re closed at 730 without a note or warning anywhere on the building? People drive far sometimes to get to you. Ridiculous.

This is an amazing place. It is like home style cooking!!! Not fast food. We got our meals delivered to our table in less than one minute. The pulled pork with mashed potatoes and Cole slaw was very delicious. The portions were huge, I could barely finish my plate. My wife had baked chicken with mashed potato’s and coleslaw, very tasty. The staff was very friendly and fast. Prices for meals were reasonable. This was our first visit as we were traveling to Florida. We highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Amazing! The food was fresh and delicious. Even better, and unlike other local fast food restaurants, the employees were actually happy and friendly. I look forward to returning to Great Grandson's.

Tried to go here for breakfast. Went through the drive through. After waiting 4 minutes i pulled around and tried to go inside. Doors were locked and employees were sitting together drinking coffee and no one was manning the drive thru window.
