La Perla Cuisine of Nayarit

My son took me and his girlfriend’s parents there for dinner. It was so we could meet each other since they were in a committed relationship. The food was not bad but also not anything special. Especially for the price point. But the service was the bigger issue. It was slow they were unfriendly. The restaurant was not busy enough to justify the lack of service. I personally don’t think a server is doing their job if you have to request drinks to be refilled. This is more noticeable when you have to wait to get them in the first place. Forgetting orders or parts of the order was another issue. The absolute worst part was listening to an employee insulting coworkers and complaining about customers. We should not have had to hear that conversation. Totally unacceptable.

We waited for 25 minutes and never got even asked about what we wanted to drink. Walked out.

I ordered the Garlic Octopus comes with yellow rice garlic bread and grilled veggies which was $21dollars and wasn’t worth it. The garlic octopus was way too salty and greasy the meat was cut up very small plus, the yellow rice was bland. I didn’t like how they was being cheap with me giving me only 3 pieces of broccoli & giving me more onions. Not worth the price at all the food was nasty & they cheap with their portions.
