Stopped in during Methodist University homecoming weekend as there was a reunion for the class of 1992 which several of my friends were a part of. Met the owner who happens to also be from Ohio and she seemed like a great person! We stayed for quite awhile and I really enjoyed the place and would go back again next time I am in town. Highly recommend!!
Hands down the best neighborhood bar on the north side. Great drinks and prices. They know how to make you feel welcome and all the bartenders make a good drink! Make sure you have a valid form of ID every time you come! They won’t let you in otherwise. It’s the law.
It was my first time here. If prejudice and racism were a place this is it. I cleared out half the bar when I walked in (I came alone by the way). Some guy purposely spit in my walking path on the way out when the bar was about to close. (Spitting that close to the entrance shouldn't even be allowed, bar or not people are clearly going to use that walking space. (They were a jock of course).
