Mac's Speed Shop is a must-visit restaurant in Fayetteville. The brisket, ribs, and dead ends are amazing, along with the brilliant tomato and cucumber salad. The portion sizes may leave you wanting more for the price. The excellent customer service, especially from the staff, saved the day. The Mac and cheese was tasty once remade correctly. The sweet potato fries and okra were good. The Sangria and Red Oak beer were highlights for drinks. The restaurant handled a large group well, providing great service and delicious food in a clean environment.
Customers have praised the restaurant's brisket burnt ends, brisket and street corn tostadas, and fried catfish. The bartender, Danielle, was great, and the server, Jessica, provided a helpful tour of the menu. The sampler and hushpuppies were fantastic, and the ribs were the best smoked BBQ ribs the customer had ever had in a restaurant. The Mac's nachos with pulled pork, the wings with VTX sauce, and the Carolina smash burger with chili were all highly praised. The apple pie eggrolls were a delightful dessert. The staff was friendly and did an excellent job.
