Finally found great German food tonight at Max and Moritz! Our group had the Beef Rouladen, Jaegerschnitzel and Bratwurst. All delicious! Cucumber salad is a winner. German beer/wine. Reasonable prices. Informal atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Unassuming place from the outside but very cozy inside. They specialize on German food & baked items.
I tried the roulade which was very good. Cucumber salad was authentic as also good. Gulash soup was phantastic. Red cabbage was way too sweet for my taste but then again, each region in Germany cooks dishes slightly different (their style seems mostly Bavarian).

Wonderful dinner with equally wonderful staff .... and made a new friend at a shared table! What a great experience in every way! Can't wait to go back :-) bakery was fantastic too!

Today was my 1st time there and I drove down from Raleigh. The food was very good and the baked goods. OMG, I felt like being back in Germany. So good!! Wish I lived just a bit closer. But I'll definitely be back. 🇩🇪

Don’t let the exterior fool you. Very pleasant, local café, serving authentic German style fare.
Traditional lots of meat with sausages, schnitzels, potato salad, cucumber, salad, and more!
The desert counter is no slouch either.
The sampler platter was more than enough for supper and lunch the next day.
Don’t skip the desserts.
