My 2 y/o son and I (pregnant) came to this place with hungry stomachs not knowing this place background the owners or its mission. As soon as we walked in Terri greeted us asked if we would like a table or booth and grabbed us drinks immediately with no wait. She offered suggestions on the menu after I told her this was our first time here and gave me enough time to make a decision. She was IMMACULATE at her job as a waitress and the food was DELICIOUS. Mac n Cheese had a cheese pull the collards were clean and cooked to perfection. When I was ready to pay and anonymous person paid for my son and I meals and tipped our waitress. It brought me to tears because we came into 2026 hard and playfully things will get better. Thank you and bless you whoever you are! The cook is amazing because yall the food is so darn good. This will definitely be our spot!

Our first time here. Saw the ads on Facebook and had to try the food. As a food blogger, I must say, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was friendly. The portions were huge and prices reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Best ribs I've had in a long time... Sauce was a little too sweet... Collards were very good too. A friend had wings and liked them. The hot honey chicken was very tender but not spicy at all. Good service too

Food and atmosphere is awesome. Food is fresh authentic and delicious. First time going. Come this way a little bit but never noticed it. Please stop by. The wife and I had the $60 platter which was great on all levels. Definitely will be coming back.

I gave this place a and thats for customer service only, it's a horrible place to dine, when you first walk in, all you hear is this LOUD!!!!!!!!! music, even though he was a very good musician, it was over the top LOUD!!!!!!!! you had to shout to talk to your family members, or your guest, asked the server to see of he could lower the music, instead he got louder, EXTREMELY LOUD!!!!!! I can't express that enough. So that made my dining experience agitating, extremely unprofessional musician. Food was hot, but extremely salty, mac and cheese was pretty good, there were not many healthy choices on the menu, great foods, the taste wasn't exactly up to par for me.. collards was just nasty, too much spice bland not good at all. Lots of people live this place, I'd you don't enjoy healthy eating.. but it's a place my beautiful family wanted to go, and thats all that mattered. But to the management, you got to do better, this definitely was not a family environment I would ever entertain again in my life time.. do better, I have to say it was clea bathrooms was nice, server was sweet and on point, all else with the rude musician, never again for me..

While traveling this past Saturday and going out of the way a bit from the highway we were somewhat disappointed with our meals. After waiting 25 minutes for my meal. (The hush puppies were a nice touch while). There were only about 4 other tables being occupied. I found my three piece fried chicken dinner to be well done and over cooked. (Quite darkI). I thought the pieces were on the small side and somewhat greasy as well as the fries being greasy. The second meal was fried chicken of a different type and came out in a similar fashion. Not sure if they share the same oil, type of oil or needed changing. I felt the corn bread portion was also small and a sizable piece of the corner was missing on top of it all. Eighteen dollars for a fried chicken dinner is a pretty moderate price to pay and had hoped for a better meal. The server was pleasant but did not come back as a different server brought us the meals. We did not see our original server until it was time for the check. I mentioned the meal my displeasure with the meal and I had the feeling nothing would be said to the cook about it after we left. Believe me when I say I prefer casual restaurants over gourmet ones but we too are not fans of paper plates and plastic silverware. Great for outdoor barbecues or indoor for rustic places but you have a varied many you many other options. To each his own and the choice is yours and ours. We travel all over this county, sometimes doing over 10,000 miles at a time and eat several meals out. I try to be as fair and honest as I can with any of my reviews but meals are a big part of the expense during our traveling. Being a business owner myself I wish you continued success and hope this review is of some help to you and your customers.
