I love Mikoto. We have dined here since it opened. As a former Japanese restaurant employee, It is the best option for Japanese food in the area if you want the taste, the sauce, and to avoid the longer waits and crowds. The chefs come from the same establishments as the others so they all have the same training. These guys are professional chefs so don't come in expecting a clown show, there's a difference in culinary performance and comedy clowns. I love the fact that...
I actually like their food for the most part, but it bothers me that I can never get my food without the bag being full of juice because they don't care how they put the crap in the bag. you from start to finish from me receiving my bag I feel I actually opened it.

We arrived at the same time as another family right when doors opened. We both got seated, however there was only one waitress. The chef started grilling the 1st table. Half of that table came after use. Another chef didn't come out for a very long time. The 1st table was basically done eating when our chef was starting to cook our food. The food was good the waitress was good, but the wait time was terrible. I would think that if Someone arrives when the restaurant opens...
