This was our first time here. Jay is very nice and was very helpful in placing our first order. the iced green tea is awesome. The food is absolutely delicious. The warm Coco bread, brown stewed chicken and the curry chicken are very good. I'm looking forward to tasting the pineapple and coconut cake. I had the opportunity to meet Ms. B and she's so nice and she gave me wonderful news. ?? She will begin selling Doubles on 11/09/2019 for $1.99 each. I'm so excited to try them. We will be back. Boy o boy, I was blown away. I ordered the Cod and Collard Greens, beef pattie, rice and beans. I have to say this food was on point. I have to say I spoke with Jay while my food was being prepared and we had a great conversation. The food was freshly made and it was on point. Although there were no plantains today I will be back again. Great place to go eat.

Delicious j*** chicken! I just had the small j*** chicken plate with collard greens and potato salad. I ordered the yams, but I had to exchange it for the potato salad due to the marshmallows. The owner switched out the side. Everyone was very kind! I'll be back.

I was beyond excited to try their food because I have not been able to find anyone who sells oxtails in Fayetteville. From the yelp reviews and the pictures of the food, I was super excited to try the food. To my surprise, I was beyond underwhelmed! The oxtails lost all of its original flavor due to the way they decided to cook it, and I felt more like I was eating cubbed steak. The macaroni and cheese, was bland NO SEASONING what so ever. I had to add my own seasoning. The "candied yams" were anything but sweet. I was served 4 small pieces of cut sweet potatoes (which shocked me because it was my side and I paid for it) and it had no white or brown sugar on it! All they did was cut up the potatoes and put marshmallows on it. The entire meal cost me almost $30 and I threw most of it out. I'm sorry to have to say it but I do not want other customers being swayed by the reviews already posted, they need to know about real experiences. If I could have gotten a refund, trust me I would have, and then taken my money elsewhere.
