2/5 underwhelming - older generation restaurant that's lost if magic and appeal or value.

When we entered, it was empty, and we were the only ones there. The host sat us down and asked if we wanted appetizer, we asked for the Kimchi pancakes and she said " no, they probably don't want to cook that" and offered dumplings instead which kindly turned down... then she asked the cook who was ok making it.... We asked for two items on the menu and she said "no its winter we dont make that"... so we asked what was available or off the menu and she literally shrugged her shoulders. After playing the guessing game we order our food, and it arrived in a reasonable time. The food was ok, nothing special or overall homemade/traditional. The pancakes were sponge like with little kimchi. Small rice and bolgogi portions. When our daughter said thank your for pouring water, the host rudely talked to another table and left without acknowledgement. We had to wait a long time for the bill as she disappeared in and out of the back. When we took the kids to the bathroom after the meal, she tossed our leftovers without asking. They had difficulty operating a card machine for payment. Will not be returning.

My wife & I enjoyed all the delicious Korean food here. Their food quality is great and authentic. It’s my favorite Korean restaurant in Fayetteville currently (there used to be more Korean restaurants) They serve you plenty of bonchan (side dishes) free with your meal too. Give this place a try if you’re craving some real Korean food!

They'll skimp you. Food is not like photos! Came here and lady right away tried to push us to buy an appetizer (I didn't want any) and just asked to order the main meal as a bibimbamp has me full. I ordered my bibimbamp and literally got actual crumbs worth of shredded meat, I was in awe I laughed thinking it was my eyes. I get were facing shrink flatiron everywhere but this wasn't a special this was a full priced bowl & there's no employees there just owners. With panda express or chipotle which notoriously skimps you you at least still get a small scoop of meat for equal or less than $16. The bowl was 99.9% noodles 3 thin circular zucchini slices, an actual pinch of cooked spinach all placed around the egg to look heftier (surprised when I ate the egg that the spinach leaves were perfectly placed and extended to cover how little there were). Asked for more meat and said I'd pay more but she then made things worse by asking for $18 for a separate plate of bulgogi and "I could take the rest home"... The pinch bulgogi wasn't good either. Customer be aware the reviews here might be inflated greatly. I've never written a bad review but also felt robbed and had to go to another restaurant because I was not full and refused to pay more for miserable servings.

17 dollars for a 'bibimbap' with half a tablespoon of dry shredded flavorless meat. If you ask for more meat, they will offer for you to order another meal. Be prepared to leave hungry or broke from having to order two meals in order to have enough meat.

This is the most authentic Korean restaurant in Fayetteville. My wife, who is Korean, was so impressed with the menu. The food came and we were both astonished with the flavor.
Truly Authentic!

I have gone here many times. But after my last experience, will not be going back. The waitress was so rude. She gave my husband something totally different then what he asked for and when we tried to tell her she just argued back. And to top it off they now charge a fee if you're not paying in cash.

Terrible experience. Ordered seafood pancakes to go, there was no seafood at all in the pancakes. No one informed me until I started to eat at home. Called the place, horrible customer service. Worst place ever.

I drove an hour and a half to get to this restaurant. To say that I'm pissed that when I arrived an hour before they were supposed to be closing the lady tells me that they're closed. And then tells me this nonchalantly as if it's not a huge inconvenience to the person who's just come to eat dinner there. If you're not going to stay open, change your times.
