It is a very welcoming place and its people are very warm, the style of food is very local, they have a menu made with liver that to lovers of this type of menu I think is the best. For home-cooked foodies, it's the place for them.
Excellent food and service around 12:30 yesterday! We had a flounder/shrimp platter with fried okra, a porkchop plate with white rice, fried okra, a mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a salad and a chicken fried steak plate with double mashed potatoes and fried okra. The only complaint was the white rice. It was definitely instant rice. That's never appetizing. We're Filipino and know good rice. This wasn't it.
The food was amazing. Went for breakfast and underestimated how good their food was until I tried it. If y'all are passing by, definitely stop in and grab a bite. The service is just as great as the food you'll dig into.
