After COVID they stopped buffet and dining in period. I guess they went cheap and didn't want to bother with the extra work and money for staff to run buffet again. It's OK, they were always OVERRATED anyway, despite the ridiculous lines on Sundays. Both Chasons/Grandsons and even Golden Corral have them beat.

A year ago the actual plate containers got smaller & the prices went up. Now there is less food on the plate. I would know because I ate there 4-5 times a week. This place had amazing food especially if you are working long hours & didn't have time to cook. Before the reduction of food on the plates.....I could eat off one plate 2 times. Now that is not the case at all. Now it is a definite hit or miss & not worth the price increase with less portions on the plate....Sad

First time using Sandpiper phone orders I ordered pork chops special two pork chops, two sides and a drink. The pork chops were OK. The yams were in frozen patties. They’re not even real sweet potatoes, sweet yams and the collard greens taste like canned greens unless that’s horrible that you’re gonna pay $12 and something for two pork chops and two sides and you get artificial sweet potatoes And canned collard greens never again

The food at Sandpiper is as good as it was 20 years ago! I wish I was able to go inside and eat at the buffet instead of using a drive thru. But again, I enjoyed my food!

I had a taste for some fish and banana pudding. Dare I say, you have to try the Cajun Catfish Sandwich. There was a line of cars but once you placed your order. Bam. Drive through only. Don't ask me why, 'cause I don't know. 😋

Lots of southern home cooking. BBQ, chicken, fish and shrimp. Salad bar and dessert bar. Go during the lunch or dinner hours for freshest turnover. Sadly, they don't allow dining in any more. Only take-out now.

First of all it's not a BUFFET... So as you have advertised "All you can eat" is not true... Gave it a one star because the advertisement for this place is very misleading... I called the establishment to inform them of the disappointment 😞 So, lets see if they care to change the false advertising 🤔

Whatever happened to good old fashioned banana pudding? I thought surely Sandpiper would have some decent banana pudding...boy was I wrong! Where were the bananas and where were the nilla wafers? What was in my container was simply yellow pudding...it was terrible and so disappointing! Y'all need to do better
