The pizza was awful! It had a bitter taste to it. There was nothing that slightly resembled pizza sauce on it. It looked more like extra fine diced tomatoes without a hint of any sort of Italian seasoning. We were brought packets of parmesan that looked like they had been picked up from another table that didn't use them. Two of them were wet. Two of them had dried up pizza sauce on them. Never in my life have I tasted pizza that I thought was awful until I ate here.
This was our first visit to this Sir Pizza. We both ordered the Beef Boat which the menu described as sliced roast beef gravy served on a french loaf. A whole sandwich cost $8. I had that plus water. My husband had a whole sandwich with the up charge for added cheese and a Pepsi. The sandwiches had mayo, lettuce, and tomato and no gravy. They were served with some potato chips. There were 8 paper thin slices of deli style roast beef on each $8 sandwich - probably 1 to 1.5 ounces of meat total. The sandwich was toasted with black burn marks on the outside of the bread. I need to remember that in a pizza restaurant you should order pizza.
Food was great, had a pizza with 1 million toppings. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Waitress was the best part, she has a great personality and made it a fun and entertaining experience. Desert was good too which I can't say for many pizza joints.
A large Deluxe..ex-tra cz pizza. Half with no green peppers or pepperoni. It was...as usual...the best tasting by far of any Sir Pizza! Great friendly service to top off the delicious meal ?
Soooo many memories here! From good to bad (not the food just the moments with family.) Family reunions, family friends seeing again years later, brunch with great grandparents... etc. The pizza is always delicious no matter what you get on it. So worth visiting if you happen to be in Asheboro.
