I've visited here many times and enjoy it. Karron was at the register this past Saturday and we had a good laugh while he helped me with my order. I had the bbq sandwich with green beans and boiled potatoes. Also ordered some onion rings. All were very good. Heavy duty tables and chairs and good atmosphere for a bbq place.

Ordered 2pc Sasuage with okra and onion rings and the half rack of ribs with okra and potato salad. Food came out in 10 minutes.

The fried foods tasted great and were hot, the ribs and sausage were just slightly above lukewarm. Good flavor to the sausage, but I would've rather had freshly cooked sausage. Ribs were dry as well. Tried to order beer but were told no one working tonight was able to handle the beer, meaning they all were under 21.

Also, there is a poor girl walking around with a boot on her foot carrying tables. Should've at least had her wash dishes instead of potentially worsening her injury.

Ribs were delicious, and customer service was great. When you finish the meal, go to Burneys next door for dessert.

Absolutely awful. Unseasoned green beans from a can, canned baked beans and not even bothering trying to hide that fact, mid tier bbq overall (sampler plate and chicken) and the sauce was absolutely vile. The cornbread was clearly from a box mix and the lemonade tasted like it came from a bottle. I am so incredibly disappointed and astonished at how many good reviews this place has. It is not worth going to at all, especially for that price point.

It’s a NO. The only thing on the plate that was halfway edible was the macaroni and cheese (not baked Mac and cheese). The portions for the price is also ridiculous, when you charge extra for Brunswick stew as a side, you expect to get more than a tablespoon full (top right compartment in photo). The brisket was VERY dry and bland. I would not order from here Ever again.

Our first time trying this place. We were looking for some good authentic North Carolina BBQ but got an average tasting sample. I had the BBQ and Chicken while my wife has the brisket.

The brisket was average with little to no rub seasoning. The onion rings and sausage dog were better. My BBQ also average with little seasoning. The chicken was moist but again little seasoning. The sauce options left a little to be desired as well.

Husband and I split combo meat plate for impromptu lunch date while running errands. What a treat! Brisket is scrumptious and ribs didn’t need any sauce, but tasty sauce choices are available on the tables. Pulled pork, onion rings, and mac and cheese very good as well. This wasn’t our first time in, but it is my first time writing a review and we will always be back because the staff and the food are excellent!

I was not overall impressed with this visit… the young lady at the cash register was phenomenal in terms of her customer service… the trouble started when I thought my pulled BBQ was pulled chicken because I assume of how long it had just been sitting getting dry. Also, it wasn’t much the touch of vinegar it normally had. When I addressed this issue I was told “that is bbq”… “theres vinegar on the table if there’s not enough”. In addition I certainly wasn’t impressed with my overcooked, hard corn bread. I felt a bit intimated to further address any concerns so I’m just speaking of this experience through my review. Normally, this is not the case but I was a bit disappointed this time around. This restaurant is officially blacklisted for an extended period of time. Will try again in the future.. ?
