Came by on my lunch break and got excited as soon I walked through the door. It smelled AMAZING and shortly after the food did not disappoint! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of menu items. I ordered the brisket plate with Texas toast, Mac n cheese, greens and potato salad. Everything was so good and I got my food under in less than 20 minutes. 10/10 highly recommend. I will be returning

Ok so I'm a Chef from Philadelphia... at first appearance u wouldn't think much of stopping but I did. I literally order one of everything for myself and my company. Every protein I had was incredible!!! Great flavor great smoke tender and just good southern bbq! Fish was fried just right and chef added extra to my platter as he and I talked about his other passion which was bowling. It was my first time having chitterlings over rice and I must say.. sheeesh it was terrific! Greens had good flavor.... But I must say if u don't take them damn pineapples and raisins out of that cole slaw and make that potatoe salad with some seasoning!!! But other then that.. I will def return for another round...! Great job chef!

Wow! Their portions are huge!! Definitely a meal you can share. There brisket is good and packed with flavor. It's different from Texas BBQ but good. Their macaroni is delicious however I'm not a fan of their potato salad. It had too much vinegar and sweet relish I'm guessing. It's just not my style. I kinda kicked myself as I went with Texas toast over cornbread but that's okay I know what I will get next time.

I ordered the chicken plate: baked beans, Mac Anne cornbread were my sides, along with beef and porks ribs. Before I get into taste and quality of the food. I want to go into atmosphere of the restaurant.While I ordered and waited for my food, the staff of Smokee’z were nothing short of welcoming and have amazing attitudes. They have more of a “home-y” vibe going for them and the food reflects that!Starting off with the chicken plate, I got the smoked chicken in BBQ sauce. The chicken was JUICY, even the breast! Not only was the meat juicy but it was also very flavorful. The cornbread was sweet, moist, and not as grainy as regular cornbread. It doesn’t dry your mouth out like some of these other places do. The baked beans were a bit different than what I’m used to. They were “loaded,” (included peppers and ground beef) and were extremely sweet because of this I didn’t favor them too much. The Mac was not too bad either, you can taste the different cheeses, and it had the perfect ration of sauce to noodles.Now for my favorite part, the ribs!! Both the pork and beef ribs did not disappoint. The meats were so tender and tasty, it was finished within minutes and I definitely was wanting more.I truly do recommend this restaurant for lunch by yourself or dinner with the family, you know you will be satisfied with your meal!!!

TIP - Wednesday or Thursday after the lunch rush is the best time to visit. The Chef/Owner asked me directly not to promote the restaurant too much. They have plenty of business, ha!I drive past this spot, right on the main road, all the time. Today, in the middle of a business run, was a good time to try the food here. The menu had lots of options and I was looking at the brisket. The server, however, suggested the steak and onion sandwich on special.Steak sandwich - This was not a small steak! I recommend asking the chef to cut the sandwich in half; Texas size portions. The French fries were also perfect with a dash of seasoning to pair with the ketchup.I was so impressed with my meal that I ordered a pound of burnt ends to bring home.

This is my first time eating from this establishment and I was very pleased with the quality of the food. I had the burnt ends bowl. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and cheesy. The burnt ends of brisket were moist and full of flavor topped off with red onions and sauce. The flavors were on point and the meat melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

From the moment my wife and I entered we smelled exactly what a bbq joint should smell like. We both had the pork sandwich. The portions were surprisingly generous. The pork itself had a phenomenal bark, and smoke ring the flavor was fantastic. The coleslaw took me by surprise with a unique flavor that is possibly the best coleslaw I've ever had. I think it had pineapple in it and it pair's nicely with the hawaiian bun. The staff and owner was so friendly and welcoming. 100% will return!

The food is AMAZING! Every time I go I am never disappointed. Too much in a hurry to tear into my food to even take a picture. Just go, you won't be disappointed by anything on menu.

When I walked in, I was overwhelmed with the delicious Smokey smell of BBQ. The food here is 10/10! The chef is friendly and witty, the portions are large, and everything we tasted was stellar. A table of guests was leaving as we waited and went out of their way to tell us how good the food was. One person gave compliments to the chef and another showed me pictures of their meals! ? We had the salmon, beef rib, baked beans, greens, okra, and cornbread. I loved the food, the chef, and the atmosphere. I’ve already recommended this place and will definitely return!

The food was amazing! Chef Myke even took time out of his very busy day to talk to us, and tell us his story of how he started from a food truck to where he is now. I can't say enough how much my mom and I enjoyed everything we had. We will be returning very soon!

My review keeps having a glitch bur let's try this again my friends hands down awesome food, awesome service and gotta love the cook. . If you make it to the Fort Bragg area it's a must for the BBQ lovers

The sides were great, but the chicken is under-cooked. The brisket is fatty on the bottom edge. The young man with the braids left the young lady to prepare the food. “You need to learn..” is what he said to her, before he took off. As a business, you can do better…and treat your workers better. Your business will not survive unless your pit-boss cooks the food himself…. 5/15/2022.
