My girlfriend and I went a month or two ago. The food was ok, not worth the money you pay in my opinion. Service wasn’t that great but the reason for the one star review is because there were literally roaches crawling on the table. We didn’t finish our food, payed our bill and left. We won’t be returning.

Women that answered the phone was rude.Menu is ? prices or too high for the quality. They won't last. I tried to support a local business but I won't support ignorance. Maybe if they humbled themselves to know that they can't survive with out customers ?‍♂️

Food was excellent. Service was outstanding. Chef Glenn cares about his customers. Love the 50's vibe.

Amazing food. I would totally recommend the Chicken cordon bleu and the Surf and turf!!! It’s such a great hidden gem.

3 stars because of great service and fast food. 1 star for the 12oz steak (more like 6oz), sent back twice for medium and got over well and well. The first steak had flavor at least while the second literally looked like it went straight from fridge to grill with only char marks from the grates while the rest of the steak looked like it was boiled. The waitress (who was new) was great and I didn't want to put her through anymore then we already had, paid for the meal and left a tip. I'll just stick with the fried green tomatoes if I ever go back.

This place is gross. Do not get the seafood here. Do not get the meats.... there's only 22 reviews, that's why the rating is so high.

I ordered crab cakes and risotto. What I received was a flat circular patty of flounder and instead of risotto, rice. There was absolutely zero crab to be found on my plate. It resembled more of a slice of spam than a crab cake. Will not be coming back.

We seriously adore the food here. Glenn could have his own cooking show. But we are glad he stays here instead.

If I could have left a no star rating based on the value of the food I would have done just that. We went last night to this restaurant because I was wanting a steak for dinner. Both I and my husband ordered the twelve ounce ribeye. Salads and sides with him drinking an IPA Man of Law (ordered because it was locally brewed). The service was great we certainly enjoyed our waiter that made sure we were taken care of. The bill came to 57.22 and 18 percent tip because the waiter cannot control the food quality or value. While some of the food was great the steak was so thin you could read through it. Because it was so thin it was IMPOSSIBLE for my husband to get a medium rare steak. We were highly disappointed and will not ever buy a steak there again. We may return for breakfast to see if that is the better value for your money....steak is not a very good value at all at this restaurant.

My niece ordered dishes for her mother, herself, her cousin and me for carry out. The food was so so good!! I think I need to go and eat there at some point soon. Please go, and have a great meal!! The only thing I would suggest the increase is the amount of veggies they give you it was a very very minimal amount other than that I will definitely be frequenting The Diner!!

Wow! If you enjoy cold undercooked food, then this is the place for you. Let's start by saying, they forgot our salads and we waited for over an hour for our food. As I said, my food was undercooked and cold. I sent my prime rib back to the kitchen 3 times. Each time it came back undercooked and cold. It's as if the kitchen staff said wait a minute and take it back to her without even attempting to heat it or cook it. There was no difference in the temperature or the rawness of the meat. The picture below is blood not juices. When a customer requests medium well, it should not be red and bloody. I finally said, "just give me a box, I will cook it at home and we would like our salads too." You lost us. We will Never make that mistake again.

Food was good. A little red inside my country steak. Cabbage over cooked. Shrimp and Grits was different from our experience in Charleston but still good. Presentation and plating of food was on point.

Friend and I visited first time. I knew we might be in trouble when the complete menu was not given us. We had to ask for the Prime Rib to be pointed out. Server had to go find information. I did order the prime rib which was satisfactory As one of the sides I chose a baked potato. There were NO baked potato's. My friend ordered the Stuffed Salmon with crab meat and Shrimp. What was served was not the stuffed salmon but salmon with a seafood cream sauce priced $2 higher than the menu. I ordered the prime rib which was satisfactory. There were no diner rolls served. Had to ask server for second serving of water.
