Such a shame. They charge extra for basic toppings. But the main problem preemptively putting a “gratuity” on a check for a family of 5. Must be how it’s done in Fayetteville I guess. Food was fine. The kids thought it was awesome.

Went there today for brunch order drinks they were bad That was not a bartender. The food wasn't that bad Not good but it took 45 minutes to get a hamburger and chicken and waffles ridiculous wasn't good enough for that for sure . The poor waitress pacing back and forth promising the food's coming unbelievable don't go on a Sunday 12:00pm bad idea and it cost a lot for that ?

I went to The Taphouse for the first time last night on a whim and I'm REALLY glad I did. My husband and I had an errand to run in Fayetteville and found this little gem after looking up "bars with live music" on Google to fill some time before going home. We parked a block or so away and enjoyed a scenic stroll through downtown to get there. When we arrived at the bar, there was a line to get in as they were just starting the evening's music event. To our surprise, they were hosting an event called "Fayetteville's Got Talent," which was a singing competition with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prizes. There was a $7 cover to get in and we received wristbands at the door for alcohol purchase, which meant we didn't have to keep showing our IDs all night to order drinks. That was a nice convenience. The MC, Paul, did a fantastic job of explaining the competition and was a phenomenal host for the entire night. He was also a great DJ and lighting coordinator. It felt like a true party. We had awesome table service all night and enjoyed a few beers, wines, and mixed drinks, which were a little on the pricey side (but that is to be expected at a cool, modern venue like this one). Neither my husband or myself sang in the competition, but we enjoyed a great show and got to witness some AMAZING local talent. Our only regret from the night was that we didn't try the food. We had eaten dinner before we came, so we weren't hungry. Though, I did learn they also serve brunch on the weekends and I will certainly come back soon to try it! If you want to try The Taphouse as a nightlife destination, I suggest going to their website or Facebook page to see upcoming events. It seems there is no shortage of fun times here!

Your choices are: serve yourself alcoholic beverages, eat, play games, and/or explore the beer cave where you can buy the stuff you just poured on tap. Modeled after the Pourhouse, you get a wristband that activates one of 40 taps where you are charged by the ounce for beverages. Prices reported as being up to 50 cents an ounce. Do your beer math before you grab a big glass to fill up. You pay for food and drink on two different tabs. Inconvenient. The food was good. Got wings, chips, Reuben egg rolls. All was tasty. Ok place to hang out and pass the time, but can be loud, and can foresee long waits for food if staffing is short. Like the concept, but probably best for a slow, long evening with friends.

One of the better places in town. The food is always good, fun atmosphere too. Excellent dine in with the family type of place that becomes more bar/club on the weekends after 10pm. Last night was live piano music and the guys was really good.

This place was like home for long time it still has a special place in my heart. I have no idea who is running the place now, frankly wanted to reminisce. So I sat on the back porch with my bf and our pup. Went in with a mask to order my drinks from the bar, had my ID and he was going to bring his id in after and order his drink, so the dog wasn't alone. Not sooner than I get back to my table, did 3 huge security guards come out to tell me I had to leave. Security very kindly stated I was not welcome. I was kind with them and they were sweet as can be, and as dumbfounded as I was, poor guys were just following orders. I was asking for explanations, they had none other than the someone in charge did not want me there. I have never caused any issues at this establishment, ever. We left as requested with no issues. I wanted to inquire as the reasoning so I proceeded to call, to speak with the person in charge since she refused to see me while I was there. Let me be clear, never once did I get rude or mean. I was on hold for 10 minutes, when she answered I asked why my bf and I were asked to leave, she proceeded to hang up on me. Such a great way to do business, run the few patrons that choose to go there away. I'm a working professional and frankly the people in charge have different views on business and professionalism. They would rather humiliate people instead of maintain a professional environment that I hear they are trying to achieve.

I used to work here for 3 years, and stopped mid 2018 due to starting a career job, it still has a special place in my heart. I have no idea who is running the place now, frankly wanted to reminisce. I was kind with them and they were sweet as can be, and as dumbfounded as I was, poor guys were just following orders. I was asking for explanations, they had non other than the manager (who I later found out was named Patricia) did not want me there. We left and I proceeded to call, to speak with Patricia since she refused to see me while I was there. Let me be clear, never once did I get rude or mean. I was on hold for 10 minutes, when she answered I asked why my bf and I were asked to leave, she proceeded to hang up on me.
