I’m a tropical smoothie cafe lover, but I must say paying for burnt and tasteless yams is a bit disheartening and I hope the company sticks to what’s already great with them and not try to have things that may or may not be a hit or miss on their menu! This was definitely a miss.

Do not order DoorDash from this Tropical Smoothie. 50/50 chance my order will be made extremely poorly, for example getting skimped on meat or my smoothie not being blended enough. When I do go in person I often have to get items remade.

Customer service is always key.
I walked in to 8 people in their own world simply lolly gagging. Some were in close proximity and others were not . I wasn’t greeted or told that I was in the wrong place to order my smoothie as multiple people looked at me throughout my time of standing there looking silly. When I finally said hello anyone here I was finally told that someone did greet me and I was left to figure out where the register was on my own. Customer service needs to be the topic of discussion if this place ever wants to see an influx in sales . I expressed my frustration to receive no form of apology . If yall going to blow labor from 2-5 atleast have one person happy to be there serving the guest.

Visited cafe yesterday. Had a discount card for B1G1 that had been purchased from a fundraiser. Was told "those haven't been working lately." I let the cashier know that it had recently used it at the Skibo and Walter Reed locations. I was told that they would not work at those locations either. I left and went to the Walter Reed location and used the card without any issues. The staff probably needs to be more properly trained on how that cards work, especially if the location is going to continue to be included on the fundraising card in the Hope Mills/Fayetteville area.

I came in today wanting a smoothie. I'm a disabled veteran and came in this location for the first time. I realized that the price was much more than the other tropical smoothie locations. I mentioned it to the employee who gave me the name martin. She said they're separately owned. I replied well I won't come here unless I have to (pressed for time). Then I ordered a avocalada smoothie. I then said I would like it sweet. She then charged me for another sugar product without asking. I said why did you charge me extra. She said because you said sweet. I'm not even familiar with prices for making it sweet. When I noticed it. I asked for someone else to help because the young lady chanrged me extra and all I requested was to make it swee. Meaning the allowable amount to make it sweet. The male manager showed up and asked what was going on. I explained that all I asked for was to make my smoothie sweet and I'm being charged. Then I told him that I was charged 6.89 for and avocalada smoothie and the price on the wall said 6.79. He started getting rude and sassy with me saying well that what the price came out as. I wasn't arguing that. What I was arguing is that the price on the wall should be honored especially because this location is already charging more than skibo(more specifically). He continued to over talk me and be rude. Instead of going back and forth with him, I asked if the first employee I was dealing with could finish ringing me up and she said "I don't want to, you were being rude about the price!" Mind you I never said anything rude to her personally. I just challenged the difference in the advertised price and what I was being charged. The male manager would not allow any of the other employees to help me and wanted to force me to continue to deal with him and be disrespected and treated with excessive unprofessionalism. Overall my experience was horrible and this location needs training and Kenny needs to be replaced. No wonder martin was rude and offended by asking questions. Her own leadership is exhibiting unprofessional, unreasonably sensitive comprehension , and distancing the company from the community over something a customer is supposed to be able to do which is ask questions and challenge inconsistency in prices advertised and price charged. Unacceptable and unbelievable.

The customer service was great and speedy but every time I go the workers don't seem to be trained well in how they make the smoothies. It’s either not blended well or too watery. Im never satisfied, hopefully this is seen and the workers are trained, respectfully.

My daughter and I wanted to try an açaí bowl for the first time. The two employees were finishing up with the customers in front of us. Once they finished, the young lady walked off to do something else and the young man started doing something else as we were standing there waiting to be helped. He never helped us. So, we moved closer to the register to get the young lady’s attention. That worked. She took our order and began working on it. While waiting on our order, a gentleman, who didn’t look like me, walked in. He received loud welcome in from the young man (employee), but yet he didn’t greet us when we walked in or helped us as we stood there waiting. The atmosphere with his presence was ugly and that’s a one and done visit for me. Customer service plays a large part in how I feel about any establishment and he didn’t have the best customer service skills for me! But the bowl was good.

An older woman, who was the only one not wearing a name tag (figures), was extremely rude. She called out a name, let’s say Bryan, while my name is Ryan. Since there was no ticket on the order at the counter, I politely asked her to confirm if it was my order to avoid touching someone else’s food by mistake. She responded by scoffing loudly, rolling her eyes, and looking visibly annoyed. Another worker kindly came over and confirmed that the order was indeed mine. Despite this, the older woman remarked, “What’s it matter? Ryan, Bryan, Diane, so what?” Her attitude was uncalled for and left everyone in the restaurant shocked. This level of rudeness was completely unnecessary.
