Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I make health smoothies for myself everyday so I thought I would go to the tropical smoothie Cafe and allow them to make me the green health smoothie with the avocados. I am sure they used all the ingredients that was on the menu for that particularly smoothie but I was a little disappointed in the flavor. The flavor was just mediocre. But the staff was very friendly in a move very efficiently The atmosphere was also lovely. I just feel like they should put a little extra pizzazz into their smoothie flavoring

I’m not sure what’s going on here lately, but something definitely needs to be addressed. The level of training across various areas of the food service seems to be lacking, and it’s impacting the overall experience.

First, cleanliness is a serious concern. The facility does not appear to be well-maintained, and the food prep areas look unsanitary. On more than one occasion, I’ve seen actions that raise red flags—such as someone wiping the side of my cup with what looked like a dirty rag. The posted sanitation grade is a 97, but based on what I’ve observed, that must have been on a very good day.

Secondly, order accuracy is consistently poor. I’ve placed the same smoothie order multiple times and included a simple, specific request, yet it continues to be made incorrectly. It’s frustrating and shows a lack of attention to detail.

In addition, the quality and presentation of the food are disappointing. My sandwich looked hastily and carelessly thrown together, with no effort at all to make it presentable.

Lastly, the dining area feels unprofessional. There’s a table in the middle of the room that seems to be used for socializing and storing personal items. It’s uninviting and inappropriate for a customer-facing space.

I’ve been a frequent customer, but after today’s experience, I’ve reached my limit. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because improvements are absolutely necessary.

I ordered a smoothie online and when I went to the store to pick it up, they weren't open. I have filled out their online form for a refund 2x and have never heard from anyone.

I passed through this side of town last night around 840, my little one wanted a smoothie so we went in. As we walked in, one of the ladies was counting money, she looked at us as if we weren’t supposed to be there and the other lady didn’t say a word either, there was a guy sitting at a table on his phone, he didn’t say a word either so I said “HELLO”, then the cashier said hello and then asked what did we need? I proceeded to order 3 smoothies and she made them. While she was making it, the lady counting the money was talking to the guy and in their conversation she mentioned they were closed twice. And I asked the cashier did they close at 9:00 and she said yes. So I told my husband, they’re acting like they didn’t want us to order or something. After we walked out, they immediately locked the door and it was 8:50. Moral of the story is, if people didn’t come in to order anything, you all would get shut down because you wouldn’t make any money. I didn’t feel welcomed, so I won’t be back in that store at all, I’ll take my business elsewhere…Because customer service is top on my list.

Go to the one on Skibo unless you feel like waiting 30+ minutes for a wrap and a quesadilla. I’ve never seen a person move as slowly as the guy making the food did. We ended up having to leave without the wrap because the wait was just too long. The smoothie was great, and the girl making them was super sweet! But we will not be back to this location due to the awful food service.

The service I received today was horrible. I came in around nine thirtyish and the ladies that were assisting me didn’t give me a greeting at all as soon as I walked in it was just a very land service. I didn’t appreciate it at all and I wish I could’ve gotten a better experience than I usually do.

First order today, definitely not my last! Sooooo good. Got the Southwest'dilla with a Bahama Mama smoothie 😋 OMG delicious! This smoothie is so refreshing!

Employees will look at you several times and won’t acknowledge you. You’ll be standing there for a long time before anyone even says anything.

Went in today for “National Flip Flop Day” to get a free smoothie. The line was long when we entered, but went by quickly. The smoothie was delicious, and the workers were very nice. We will definitely be back again

Orders are usually fast. Good options for healthy they have sub splenda as well.
