Despite the timing of our visit, which happened to be their soft re-opening after Helene, it was an awesome experience! The limited food and cocktail menu still offered delicious options! The service and ambiance were fantastic! Highly recommend!

10% SALES FEE ADDED TO BILL.

I recently dined Ruby De Noche and while there were several aspects of my experience that I appreciated, there were also some concerns that impacted my overall satisfaction.

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was enjoyable, with a good variety of options on the menu. However, I was disappointed to discover a 10% Sales Fee added to the bill without any prior disclosure. This unexpected charge was not mentioned when I placed my order, and I find it essential for restaurants to be upfront about all costs associated with dining.

In my view, it's important for restaurants to price their meals completely and transparently rather than hiding costs in additional fees. Customers should be aware of the total price they will be paying from the start. If the menu say $45 for a meal, then that is what I should pay. Unfortunately, this lack of transparency affects my decision to return. I will not be coming back to Ruby De Noche and will be informing my circle of dining friends about this pricing practice to ensure they are aware.

I hope this feedback is received constructively, as it’s important for businesses to communicate openly with their patrons. I wish Ruby De Noche the best in addressing this issue and in its future endeavors.

We went to Ruby de Noche for the 1st time last evening and found the food, drinks and service delightful.

A group of us went to the Playhouse and went here for dinner. We were so surprised at this wonderful restaurant. It felt like we were entering a speakeasy and the menu was quite extensive. Everything we ordered was great. We all shared plates and probably ordered too much but Really enjoyed our experience here. We will be back.

How to explain blue ruby de noche……amazing!!!!!!! I came here for my birthday and the food and atmosphere was incredible. One of the owners Lesley spoke to me and my husband and she was amazing! Food was the best in flat rock, I got the fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection and the lemon cake was to die for!

Making a reservation is a bit tricky. You call a number and leave a voicemail and maybe they call back to confirm or maybe they don’t. So we walked in not knowing if they actually had a spot for us. Luckily they did.Walking into the place you are greeted by what appears to be some sort of large utility closet full of stuff. It’s a new place so maybe something was being fixed? But… when we left the door was still wide open. Doesn’t do much for ambiance to see a huge messy closet full of junk. All they need to do is close the door, but that attention to detail was missing on this night.Otherwise the ambiance was good. It’s a cute space. Excellent service. The food is okay. Chickpeas, cauliflower, and beets are good. The fries in the fish and chips were cooked to death. The elote was… odd. Elote should be grilled, but I think this was just boiled and then rolled in seasoning. As a result the corn was kinda soggy and the flavor was peculiar. Salad was swimming is dressing. The signature cocktails are meh. Get a glass of wine instead.I appreciate the “no-kids” rule. I wish more places did that.All in all a bit of a disappointment. Their bakery is so good but right now it feels like the restaurant has some growing pains. Maybe I’ll come back in the future to see if it’s sorted out. Maybe I won’t.
