My wife & I came here for the first time since Crazy-19 besieged the world in 2020. We "lucked out" with one of the few "at grade" parking spaces. If those are full, you can always park "down the hill" behind the place... the entry drive to the right-side of the cafe. As for food, we opted for omelettes. They put the meat on the side, not IN the omelettes, but, lemmetellya, our side meats were GOOOOD, as were the omelettes! The plates served to us were almost "photogenic" but, alas, I didn't think of that until I had started to "dig in" to the tasty eats. BTW... the "day's jam" provided to us with our toast (moi) and biscuits (wife's) was a "balsamic strawberry." That sounded odd... but it also was GOOOOD! Oh... and the grits were quite "authentic" and TASTY! And, I gotta say, the server, Zoe, was very attentive to our questions and requests. I don't think my wife & I will wait another couple of years to go there again!

Out with our Motorcycle group and we picked this place for breakfast on a Sunday. We arrived at 8:00 as they opened and they accommodated our group of 20, so we thank them for that. The food and service were very good, and the small boutique atmosphere is top notch! Worth a visit for a nice relaxing meal in a neat neighborhood.

Another fine breakfast at Honey and Salt! My wife and breakfast buddy reminded me that it's been a couple of years since we last (and first) ate here. Our 1st experience was so memorable we've been wanting to return ever since but just hadn't had the opportunity. We're so glad we came back! Although there are other good options around for places that offer gluten-free (or "gluten friendly") pancakes like H&S does, they're one of the very few that offer GF French toast. It's still as awesome as I remembered! Made with their own brioche bread, the 3 slices of GF French toast were thick, dense, and delicious! My wife had a spinach, onion, mushroom, and cheddar cheese omelet she thoroughly enjoyed. And the bacon is indescribably good! Wide, thick cut, smoky strips cooked to perfection. The coffee was excellent and plentiful, the ambiance was cozy, and the service was outstanding! Kudos to our attentive, engaging, and informative server, Zoe. An all-around wonderful experience! We promise not to wait so long again before returning!

Quaint country eating place. Small and cozy. The food is amazingly delicious. Offers many gluten free options! The bacon is the best I have ever tasted!

Our first visit and certainly not the last. Warm friendly staff. Convenient communication: you get a call on your cell when your table is ready. Indoor or outdoor dining. Varied menu. We chose the salmon sandwich which was truly out of this world. Parking can be problematic IF you don’t like parking in the lower lot and walking up a hill to the restaurant. But IF you need to add to your steps, you’re spot on. And there is ample handicapped parking right at the door.

Perfect spot for a delicious brunch! Blueberry pancakes were scrumptious, and the ranchero skillet was so tasty as well. We got a side of grits and biscuits and were not disappointed. Great use of local produce. Highly recommend!

We had a bacon egg and Avacoado sandwich! Not only was it big but they were not greedy with any of the toppings, this was by far the best BLT I've had! Ever! Most definitely gonna start eating here more! It's a must try !

We are from out town located about 6 hours away, and loved it so much, we visited back to back times. Both times the waits were not bad (under 20 minutes). The staff was extremely courteous and bubbly even with the breakfast rush hour. The waitress recommend the house special Monkey Bread - do yourself a favor and get it when you make a visit - WORTH IT. They provided us with exceptionally friendly customer service, took our order and the food came out rather quickly!Their English muffins are house-made and fantastic! They’re not cardboard garbage you find in other breakfast spots. They have raw local honey on each of the tables which was a sight for sore eyes as I usually never see this anywhere! Everything we ordered was phenomenal, my daughters French toast was buttery-melt-in-your-mouth (which we used honey on it also).Over all, if I could give 10 stars I would for this local gem, it’s located in a quaint area with two adorable boutique shops for holiday gift finds. We never felt rushed to make room for others on the wait list. Nothing in the areas (boutiques and restaurant) are overpriced and I felt full and content after leaving. From the service, to the food and prices we left satisfied and will surely recommend this to all.

Great little breakfast place in Flat Rock. Rib-sticking food from farm-to-table growers. I had the French toast, cheddar grits and hash cake. Wonderful. Cozy place and friendly service.
