Family-style, family-friendly, family-owned ice cream shoppe. There are so many wonderful sweet options and huge cases of Hershey's ice cream. There is also a lovely lunch menu with Nathan's hot dogs, sandwiches, and salads. There is cozy seating indoors and lots of fun spaces outdoors to sit (or swing) while eating. This is a place that has something for anyone in your family. The staff is very kind and very helpful.

Roy, the owner, is fantastic, and the atmosphere of the place is wonderfully welcoming. The food was outstanding! I enjoyed a homemade "Brunswick Stew," a delicious sandwich, and a Chicago hot dog that truly lived up to its reputation. Although a traditional Chicago hot dog doesn’t include ketchup, it was still excellent.
