I do fly out of AVL because it's a long drive to Charlotte. The recent changes inside may be nice (although the Cinnabon seems to have disappeared) but the parking and pickup- drop off shuttle is a disaster. you can't reserve a spot in advance, there are very few available long term spots to begin with and they fill up quickly. We had to pay for covered deck parking for 12 days which was at least twice the long term parking because there were no other options.

Recent trip to Orlando. Flew Delta, On time both ways! Got to see the new N terminal. Looks great and can’t wait for it to be finished. Great job AVL!
We are blessed to have this regional airport. It”s an enjoyable experience from security to boarding.

Located after the security checkpoint, this Cinnabon offers delicious cinnamon rolls, available in a large roll or four small ones. Priced at $2.99, a cup of coffee complements the sweet treats. Although some find it too sugary for the morning, the rolls are a popular choice when fresh. The grab-and-go setup provides quick service, with a convenient airport location near TSA. Despite occasional disappointments with freshness, the overall experience earns a solid 4/5 for both service and ambiance.
