Most of the glowing review are from the last year when they still had Kosta's menu. Well, they don't anymore. We went for dinner and the place was freezing. We ate wearing our coats, and some of the staff were wearing theirs as well. Salads came out about 2 minutes before entree, not nearly enough time prior to entree. We had to ask for napkins.

The food was okay, but probably 40% more than what you would expect to pay for a diner. If they are aiming for more upscale, they missed. Judging by the low number of diners, I am guessing the community agrees.

Since the place is owned by the same owner as Eggs Up Grill, I was expecting a much better dining experience. It was kind of amateurish, almost like a family bought it and said let's give it a try. The staff was friendly enough, but honestly I do not see how they make a go of it. I give them a year at most, unless significant changes are made.

Half the menu is gone, food is ok. Will miss Kostas, will we go again? Only if in the area...

Standard breakfast spot that is reasonably priced.

Philly cheesesteak is great. Patty melt is good.

Took my father for breakfast. We were sat in the little breezeway between dining rooms. Food was fine, although the sausage was overcooked. The main issue was toward the end of the meal when we started noticing tiny ants. The first one I didn't think much of. Then we spotted a few more. That's when we finally noticed them on the wall, crawling in and out of the cracks in the paneling.
After leaving and discussing, tried to call and alert manager to the bug problem. But no one seemed concerned about the issue or interested in letting us speak to the manager. Won't eat here again.

Really good food at reasonable prices. The lasagna with salad and bread special on Friday's is my favorite.

This great little breakfast and lunch spot has been open for 40 years and their food is excellent and their prices are more than reasonable... Especially in the expensive Asheville area. My favorite thing is a vegetable omelette with cheese on top. I eat it almost every morning that they are open. They're closed on Monday but it is posted on their website and direction page.

Parking: They are closed on Monday. You should get there before about 10:00 because I went late on Saturday and had to wait 20 minutes for a spot at the counter. But I have no complaints.

Ordered a chicken parm with sweet potato fries to go. Got spaghetti with light sauce no chick parm. And a slice of bread instead of sweet potato fries.
Really sad because I really wanted to try their food but this was just extremely disappointing.
