Been coming here most of my life, since before the business changed hands years ago. Orange twists still great, if you can get them. But they’ve been closed every time I’ve visited family in Rutherford County for the past couple years. Hours posted online are not remotely accurate. With the slim margins in food service businesses, I just don’t see how these folks survive being open so little.

There is a need for moving the cars through faster, though, whether by displaying a menu so people can see it ahead, having another employee on hand - something. Some cars are at the window for ages, and not everyone has time to sit in line for 30 minutes. The donuts were absolutely delicious!! It is drive-thru only, so there isn’t really an “atmosphere” per se. By the time we got there, around 10, and they were out of several donuts. My suggestion is get there as soon as they open for the best selection. The kid running the drive-thru was less than enthusiastic. Next time I’m in Forest City I will give them another try.
