Wow! We were so surprised. This is authentic Tex-Mex and is delicious.Beginning with the fast and friendly service, even though the restaurant was almost full.The chips were warm and crisp, and the salsa had just enough spiciness.I had enchiladas verdes and they were excellent. My hubby had combination #15 (a taco and a beef burrito) both were great (but I forgot to take a photo ?) The portions were also excellent. We will happily come back.Fun Mexican music playing in the background (not a quiet place, but fun)

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We got food poisoning after eating here.Their were small signs, like the factThat they pick up and refill everybody’s dirty cup in tandem, but before I left I went to the restroom. A cook came out of the small comunal bathroom after taking a god awful dump. I held my breath to pee, when I got done I noticed that their was no soap. The small hand washing sink I noticed as I left was being used to force thaw shrimp in water

They have one communal bathroom that staff and patrons share alike, the server came out after taking a dump. I went in, their was no soap. This place is a Sty. Save your gut, save your time, go to Smithfield which is 8 min away their are better, cleaner restaurants.

—EDIT ADDED BELOW—The waitress we had was beyond rude the entire time - we had to wait to order even though there were 5 waitresses there when we got there. My husband and mother in law order the grande burrito ($13.99) and I ordered the fajita burrito (9.99) - they brought 3 fajita burritos (I was the only one who got rice & beans) - we asked them to correct it - they insisted on inspecting the food - so we said just bring us the rice & beans and we will pay $9.99 for each - the ticket they brought us first was $49.16 - and then the “fixed” receipt was $48.06 - we had to argue to get them to “fix” our receipt. Our waitress rolled her eyes and said “this is all we can do” (pointing to the $49.16 receipt)We will NOT be back even though my father-in-low & mother-in-law live right next to the restaurant and we live about 8 mins away.I would NOT recommend this place - food was not good and the service has gotten so sorry - that girl should be ashamed of the way she treated us.I have never been treated that way - and can’t believe how disrespectful she was. Like I said we will NOT be returning.—— EDITED TO ADD ——After receiving a response from the owner, I added two stars, for a three star review. My husband and I went up to the restaurant to get the refund we were offered by the owner after my post. He wasn’t there however he insisted on speaking to me through the waitress’s phone. We received our refund in full. He apologized profusely and said he made changes to his staff upfront.That’s how you handle business. I genuinely appreciate that. He made it right. We may give them another chance and visit for dinner soon. But I wanted to give credit to the owner and show how much I appreciate him taking our poor experience so seriously and trying to make it right!! Thank you!!

Food was great and fair prices. What stuck with me the most was the waitress. We went today wed may 17th and she was the BEST waitress I have seen a very long time. She went out of her way to make our dining experience memorable and will definitely be going back

We ate there 2/6/2023, and the food and service were awesome! Authentic tasting Mexican, good portions and prices. Service was attentive. Salsa and chips before the meal, and the salsa was great! My husband had Chimichangas, and I had Enchiladas Supreme. Our plates were brought to the table a couple of minutes apart, I guess when they were done. They were hot! We have a new favorite Mexican Restaurant!
