maybe I should teach them how to make sawmill gravy aka breakfast sausage gravy....
or how home fries is supposed to be prepared, or how country ham is to be seared and served light golden brown instead of black.........

We've stopped back form Cherokee Casino-roadtrip-had pancakes and ordered some fruit, in this case they added Blueberries not on top but on the dough, so was created specially for me, LOVE it! No artificial taste, one of the best pancakes I had, grits was good as well. Recommend for a rapid breakfast!

We left Maggie Valley and drove an hour to get there during normal business hours on a Friday morning only to find it Closed and looking abandoned. What a waste of time and gas.

My wife and I had breakfast here before returning to Greenville, and we were so thankful we did. Classic diner breakfast with a great cup of coffee in a comfortable and clean atmosphere all checked the boxes of a place we'd for sure return to given the opportunity.

If you're chasing waterfalls in the mountains, Franklin Cafe is a must stop! Not only were the food and drinks delicious, the waitress we had was awesome with the best attitude and so friendly!🥰🫶🍳🥞🥓

Grits are instant grits that came in one lump. I've steak more tender than the pancake. Biscuits are not homemade they come from a precooked package. The country ham and the eggs were the only 2 things edible. Even the lemons for the tea were completely mush. Will not return and suggest you not even try it unless you are starving and nothing else is open
We ate here a few times when we first moved to Franklin. I mentioned it to our real estate guy, he said why did you eat there? ? Which was a clue. You can tell everything is made with the cheapest ingredients, bread, fake cheese slices, etc. they can get. It’s not worth your time. Cafe 828 has much better food.

We stopped on our drive home from TN. The staff are so friendly, the food was delicious. Their biscuits are simply amazing! Better than any fast food chain you can find on the road. Stop in enjoy the ambience of an old time cafe with charm.

We were looking for lunch and as soon as we saw Franklin Cafe, we knew it was the vibe we were looking for. When we walked in we were greeted with smiles from the ladies working the dining room. The menu is big and we wish we could've tried everything. You know we had to order a slice of fried bologna ? the owner was our server and she was a complete ray of sunshine! She is thorough and attentive and told us her favorites, which we tried of course. I didn't catch her name but you are awesome girl and so is your cafe! Hats off to the men holding down the kitchen too. We aren't locals but we will be back ???
