Me, my sister & my 17 month old stopped by for an ice cream & Lilly went above & beyond for us. She was polite, caring & on top of being great at her job and having top notch customer service, she played peekaboo with my toddler and let him run around the empty dining room - gave us a wet rag for the mess he made and offered him some gummy bears when he started to get cranky. She was so kind! Can't recommend this place enough!Kid-friendliness: With the friendliest staff & a great area for kids to just be themselves!

5 of us stopped in for an afternoon treat and were very satisfied with the selection of ice cream as well as the friendly staff. We were the only ones there (about 3:30pm) and the lady was very helpful with our flavor selections and accommodating when some of us changed our minds. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Franklin.

We were there on 8/21/23. Excellent service and ice cream. They make every waffle cone fresh there and even make them into a waffle bowl, which is what we got. They offered vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon waffle cones. The Hershey's ice-cream was very good also.

I brought my family in a bit before closing yesterday and there was only ONE person working who looked to be no older than 16. How is that even ok? She seemed to be the only one in the whole factory building. What if someone had walked in and tried to rob or heaven forbid something worse? She was amazing at her job and seemed to be ok with the situation but I'm not ok woth it and the boss or management need to do better and have more than one person closing. It's not safe.

Good ice cream and large portions of it. Not usually a fan of Hershey's ice cream but the two flavors we had were better than the last Hersheys I bought at a different place.
Great local ice cream! Lots of seating and lots of great options as well. Service was fantastic even with a long lines. Not many places to get ice cream here so come and get some! Butter Bourbon is my favorite!

We all visited Jack the Dipper Ice Cream in Franklin, NC this weekend and we were pleasantly surprised! I will say right upfront it was a little hard to find, the entrance is at the same building as The Factory. When we walked in we were taken back by the amount of flavors they had available! I was hoping to see home made ice cream but they serve Hershey's ice cream which is a very good quality and stored at the PERFECT temperature so it made up for not having home made. I got a milkshake made with the Honey Roasted Peanut Butter ice cream and Moose Tracks mixed along with some chocolate syrup! The texture was perfect and the mix was right on the money! They make fresh waffle cones which was really cool to see them do! The serving sizes are very generous which was a plus! My wife got a chocolate peanut butter milkshake that was mixed perfectly and tasted very good as well! The kids got cookies and cream ice cream and the other one got the birthday cake ice cream that both were full of flavor! A definite must try when you're in the area!

Great ice cream shop. We stopped in after spending some time at the Factory. There was a bit of a wait since there was just one gentleman behind the counter but he did an excellent job. Handled each customer, changed his gloves ?, smiled and went to the next. The Brown butter bourbon & honey roasted peanut butter were delicious. I even asked for a little bit of waffle cone & he made me one fresh ? Very impressed with his customer service & great attitude. We will be back.

My son and I took a few moments out of our evening to get a sweet treat and relax a bit. The cinnamon wafflebowl is soooo yummy and freshly made, there are so many delicious flavors to choose from, they are very affordable and the staff is TOP NOTCH! So friendly and accommodating. We LOVE Jack the Dipper, and we are so happy they opened up over here in Franklin! We stop in quite often and can't seem to get enough.
