Was very sad. Drove from Hayesville to dine here- a good 40ish minute drive with my kids to find a sign on the door saying they were closed til March. Would be nice if they'd update their hours online as well. Ended up eating at the pizza and pasta bar next door and had a GREAT time but my son was still disappointed because he had it set on his mind he was ready to try sushi.

I'm sharing this bad experience of many at Kobe's over the last 2 years.i go because my boyfriend really likes the food and I finally found one dish I liked after he begged me to go so many times. I order the same thing everytime and they've gotten it right only twice in 2 years. I order hibachi steak with broccoli and rice, and an order of crab rolls. How hard is that? Told me they didn't have crab rolls and you can physically see them in the case when you pick up your to go order, they had them.Drove 40 mins home to find out that nothing in the order (my plate and my boyfriends) we're right except for onions noodles and rice. They gave me 7 bits of steak a bunch of mushrooms and rice. Absolutely disgusting, and not what I ordered I call them and they don't even say sorry, just try to argue. They won't last here much longer because I know I'm not the only one.

Me and my fiancé have absolutely fallen in love with Kobe Express!! First time we went we tried three different sushi rolls and some other things (obviously had to take some home) absolute perfection and the atmosphere is very pleasant especially when you have social anxiety I felt like I was at my dining room table here. (Sundays however are a bit crowded due to after church rush) but 100% our go-to date night spot now
I ordered takeout. It's been about a year since I had there food and am not sure what happened? I ordered a variety of items and was profoundly disappointed. Even my college age son said he didn't want leftovers, that's says it all. I really hope they get better quality ingredients or a new chef. Sorry to be so harsh, but it was that bad.

I usually go to the Kobe in Waynesville Nc which is usually excellent food, this time I went to the Franklin NC location, I would like to start with the positive first the guy at the counter was very nice and polite… but when I got home and opened my food it was a disaster! The tuna was overcooked ( thrown out) , the California rolls were decent, the vegetable melody was filled with onions ( I did not want mushrooms) so basically it was all onions, little broccoli, and tiny bit of I think squash but again mostly thick cut onions , (again thrown out) so I wasted time and money going here, very dissatisfied.I will never eat at this Kobe again.

What a dive! Never judge a book by its cover! My adventurous husband loves to try these hole-in-wall places and this time it paid off!! The ginger dressing for my very fresh house salad was amongst some of the best I've ever had. This was also, hands down, some of the best sushi that I have found anywhere around here.The spaces were clean and the service came with a smile. We'd definitely come back to try more if looking for a meal in this area.
