This is what I always imagined Southern restaurants were like. The food is simple but insanely good. I had the pot roast and coleslaw and potato salad. I will absolutely do it again. The coleslaw and potato salad are also amazing
Hometown food for hometown people. This is where locals go for local cuisine. I go all the time and love the staff and the food. The latkes are my favorite and my go to is pan fried chicken with taters, yams, and pinto beans (with cornbread!) Food is so good that when my kid was 6 she sheepishly asked if there was a Mr Lois. Kid has his priorities straight.

Went for lunch. Had liver & onions no gravy. It was perfection. Great food, great service, and great prices. Only drawback was the seating area needed to be bigger to serve more customers. Highly recommend.
