Let me tell you. They have the best southern fried chicken this side of my mama’s chicken. Like that saying in the movie Fried Green Tomatoes…..”you got a good scald on that chicken”. And that my friends is a compliment, a southern compliment at that. Close your eyes and you’d swear you were sitting at your mama’s table eating her fried chicken and it doesn’t get better than that!!!!!
Fried chicken and okra were top notch. Too full to try the pies.
I went to the newly opened Sunset restaurant in Franklin for lunch yesterday with friends. The food was great and the service was as well.
The only slight negative for me was that it was that it was very noisy. Of course, the place was packed! The restaurant has been beautifully updated and I will definitely go again.
